“BMX in the Coachella Valley has grown because of a single bike shop, a group of like minded passionate people, and the ultimate goal of having a good time. This video features riders with a name and with dudes who just like to chill. We arent trying to sell you an idea, we are just showing you what BMX is to us and to the Coachella Valley. Thank you to all the support from companies like Cult and Monster Energy, and to all the Professional riders that drop in and put a good light on BMX who inspire the next generation. Full length video expected to be completed in the Fall of 2014.”
You give the Kings Ride Shop crew 4 pallets, some plywood, a generator and some lights in a parking lot and you will get a rad video from a chill session! Take a peek at what went down!
“Fellas put some pallets to use for a chill simple set up. Josh can put down tons of smooth variations making the simplest set up something unique. David Aleman adding to it with tech lines. All in all it was a good night with chill vibes with the Kings crew. Special thanks go out to Dustin Helm with the lighting, clips & man pads, Jeffery Robert with the generator to light the place up and getting some angles, and Jess Colella with the help of Kyle Helm dusting the place for nails and helping set up. Music: Pogo – Candle In The Rain” – Patrick Martinez
For all the kids out there that think they can’t progress or can’t have fun because they don’t have a skatepark around or because they don’t live in a city with amazing street spots, check this out. Josh Alderete mostly uses two and four pallets for this edit (a few clips feature other DIY items) and he does so many great tech combos. Very impressive.
Cult have teamed up with King’s Ride Shop to do a limited edition collaboration frame. They went with the American made B-Boy frame and came through with this amazing red colorway with some custom graphics that really make this thing look awesome. I’m drooling a little bit. Check out more photos of this frame by hitting this LINK. WANT!
“Kingsrideshop and Cult collaboration with the b boy frame. Custom colorway with simple attractive graphics make up the collab with a limited quantity. This video is made up of and features Steven Mack with the support of James at kingsrideshop, Nels Sorensen, Matt Wittig, Susanna Jerome, and myself. Music is by Modest Mouse – Dramamine.”
