La Cribs coming through with a video that we are imagining was filmed last summer, unless Canada has thawed out real quick already, from a jam on Marc-Andre Bellemare’s backyard ramp! La Cribs – Wheelies Man en Gaspésie

Wheelies Man is back with a fresh video from some time he spent in Gaspésie, Quebec. This isn’t a place too many people would think “BMX” for, but Wheelies Man made the most of the place and ended up with a solid video filled with riding and plenty of sights he took in along the way.

In fall 2020, I had the chance to tour the Gaspé for 1 full week with my BMX and my good old van as my only guides!

Of course, the Gaspé is not geographically the most favorable place for street spots, but Rivière-Du-Loup and Rimouski are essential.

Wheelies Man 2020

This year has been a weird one. Who would have thought a pandemic would lead to huge demand for BMX bikes and shops and brands struggling to stay stocked up? Despite all that madness, it also oddly enough gave Wheelies Man, the co-owner of La Cribs BMX Shop, a little extra time to actually get out and ride his bike more. That time allowed him to film a bunch and ended up with this rad new edit filled with creative and unique riding on a bunch of great spots. Even the filming and editing has a unique approach as well. If you want to see something different, this is well worth the watch! You won’t be disappointed.

“So here it is! A new Wheelies Man video part. Being co-owner of La Cribs bicycle shop for 8 years, means it is not always easy to ride during the summer season because it is an excessively busy period. However it was a special season with the covid situation, we had a tight schedule. With the shorter hours at the shop it gave me a lot of personal time that I invested in my bmx. Over 80% of the spots are bicycle distance from the Cribs shop.

Also, an interesting fact, is that it took me 2 years to think about how it would be possible to ride the module in my last clip. Until I got the idea that I was in Quebec and the snow could help me! For the special introduction, I have done everything : Original music with stylophone, voice sound, puppet and canvas painting. For the video I self filmed the majority of the clips and did all of the editing. Thanks to Arnaud P. Paquin, Vlad P. , Gaby L. and Sabrina QB for the extra filming. La Cribs – Boston Delices

The La Cribs squad up in Canada took a trip on down to the U.S to spend some time exploring spots around Boston, Massachusetts for their annual trip. We’re assuming this one went down before the COVID pandemic kicked off since we can’t imagine they would have been able to road trip down during this. Either way, these guys spent a few days exploring spots all over the city, stacking clips all along the way. Hit play to check out what they got into and what went down!

The La Cribs Shop crew up in Canada coming through with a fresh mixtape from the streets of Montreal for your viewing pleasure! This one was filmed over the course of last summer and features 32 minutes of real solid riding from a big mix of riders rom the scene. “This year I was more than motivated to ride all the local spots in Montréal.
So many unknowns and forgotten spots in Montréal that I’m stoked to shine some light on. I work almost everyday at La Cribs bike shop in the summertime, so I try to ride as much as I can in the early and late season!
