MacNeil BMX – Adam Piatek Welcome to the Pro Team

Adam Piatek has been doing it for Macneil for a while now and he has definitely been putting in the work! Well, his work has been appreciated because they have officially bumped him up to the pro team! Check out his welcome video packed full of lines and grinds galore to see just why they made the move! “A regular day out on Vancouver Island with my good homie Rayden Wickop turned out to exceed our expectations. Combined some other previous footage from all around to create a nice blend. All filmed in Parksville, Nanaimo, Port Moody, Port Coquitlam, Poland. Real grateful to be accepted to the MacNeil Bikes Pro team! Nothing but unreal vibes to come!

Macneil have just released Chris Silva’s new signature Pivotal seat! This seat features thick foam for comfort with sitting and barspins and a synthetic cover that helps resist tearing with a debossed Chris Silva logo on the rear of the seat and a small signature patch on the back. This seat is clean and simple and available in black only with a weight of 10.58 oz. (300 grams)!

Product: Macneil – Default Frame

We were watching Brandon Webster’s video bike check and noticed he was running a new frame from Macneil called the “Default” frame. We hadn’t seen that one before, so we figured it was a good idea to get a closer look! This frame is made from 4130 Sanko Japanese chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.75″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and a 13.6″ chain stay length. The Default frame features top and down tube gussets, an externally machined and heat-treated MID bottom bracket, a heat-treated integrated head tube, a Macneil logo on the seat stay bridge, a wider rear end to fit the 2.40″ tires, an integrated seat post clamp, removable brake mounts and heat-treated Micro drop outs.

The Default frame comes in 20.75″ and 21″ top tube lengths, a weight of 4.9 lbs. (20.75″) and color options of ED black, translucent red and silver. This frame is available now through all shops and mail-orders that carry Macneil worldwide.

Macneil – Silva & Son Vacation

This is rad! Macneil dropped a video from a trip Chris Silva and his dad took along the East from Toronto to Florida hitting spots and having a good time along the way! This video is in fact filmed by Dad Cam which is awesome as well. You know Chris Silva doesn’t disappoint when he has a new BMX video drop, so hit play and enjoy the trip!

“Back in January, Chris Silva and his dad embarked on a month long road trip from Toronto to Miami all in an attempt to escape the harsh Canadian winter and bask in some Southern sun. Silva also wanted to check off some bucket list items of famous spots that he’s seen in videos throughout the years and was lucky enough to find some newer ones along the way.
They hit a ton of cities, but most notable were: Nashville, Tennessee; Athens, Georgia; Orlando, Miami and back up the coast to Jacksonville in Florida. High tailing it through the Carolinas they hit up the White House and Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.; gambled in Atlantic City and finally got to New York/New Jersey where Silva hit up the Animal warehouse for a quick sesh and did some site seeing in the Big Apple.” – Macneil
