The latest episode of Brant Moore‘s Moore BMX Podcast features a video call with Marc and Rich Moore (no relation to Brant… I think). Either way there is a lot of Moore’s sitting down to talk all about Source BMX and everything they have going on with the company and the recent merger with Sparky’s and much, much more (Moore?). “Source BMX is the world’s largest BMX store. It was started over 20 years ago by Marc & Rich Moore. This is their first and only podcast so far.

Recently the news was released that the parent company Wheels Of Steel that Marc & Rich own would be merging with Ronnie Bonner’s parent company Sparky’s. This is covered in depth as well as the 2023 restructuring that occurred.

Through speaking with these two, it is very easy to see that Marc & Rich are BMX through and through. These guys started a shop over 20 years ago with $5,000 and have continued to reinvest over time to eventually become the world’s largest BMX store. On top of having this store, they also have an indoor skatepark in Hastings where they run an absolutely massive BMX event annually called The Battle Of Hastings. There is so much to say about everything these two do in BMX so I will let them tell it all in this podcast.” – Brant Moore

The Source Park – BMX Documentary: Episode 2

Part two of the documentary telling the story of how Source BMX built out Source Park in Hastings! The location is incredible, but there was a TON of work that went into making it a reality. Part two shows the hurdles they had to jump to get the build going, along with more about how Marc and Richard Moore ended up where they are toda from jobs working for magazines to opening up the first Source shop and how the wheel kept turning. Over the past few years, we’ve seen countless videos from sessions inside Source BMX‘s park, but for many of us, we haven’t had the chance to see what the whole place looks like. If you have ever wondered what the inside of Source BMX looks like, here’s your chance as Marc Moore gave Our BMX a full tour of the place from the shop to the bowl and street parks, along with a look at their warehouse that is jam packed with bikes, frames and parts that they use for their online orders on the Source BMX website in the U.K and Europe. So, if you have always wanted to get over to Hastings, England to see the place, but it hasn’t happened, this is a good look at just what the place has to offer. It’s pretty amazing to see how much they have grown since their start many years ago in a tiny shop just trying to help build the local scene.
