Fly Bikes – 2014 Catalog

Fly Bikes 2014 range of frames, complete bikes and parts are hitting shops and distributors world wide, so they figured now would be a great time to give you a look at the entire line or products along with some damn good photos of their team! “With the 2014 product line already arriving in countries such as Asia, Australia and about to hit the USA and European shores, we’re pleased to release the digital version of the new 2014 catalog online for your viewing pleasure.

For this years catalog, we’ve changed things up a little and combined amazing photographic content from our recent Fly Bikes project, “Coastin” trip while also continuing our classic styling of including team riders comments and testimonials, talking about the latest features they’re excited about and benefits of the parts they helped design and use and abuse on a daily basis. The latter portion of the catalog is a little more traditional featuring detailed product illustrations and specs on parts and bikes from the 2014 Fly Bikes line. We hope you enjoy.

Fly Bikes – “Coastin” Part 1

Fly Bikes is always cooking up something unique and this video they just dropped is nothing short of unique and phenomenal. The team recently spent some time in Malaga together where they used some ramps they built to create some crazy spots. Check out this video because it’s too damn good to miss!

“With a little throwback to its roots and the Flybikes “Uno” video of a few years ago, and with interests outside of just riding bikes ranging from skating to surfing, the Fly crew’s DIY approach and guidance of semi local Ruben headed up along the Northern Coast of Spain bringing it’s own makeshift, versatile and sometimes maybe a little sketchy pallet inspired ramps to create something “more” than was really out there originally, on some of the most unique and scenic locations in the world, making “almost spots” into some of the most amazing and rideable spots ever! Mutiny – Cool Story Bro – Final Video

During Interbike, I was fortunate enough to get an early look at the final “Cool Story Bro” video from Mutiny Bikes. The video is the final part of a series of web videos that have dropped over the past year giving us a closer look into the lives of team riders Josh Bedford, Matt Roe, Justin Simpson, Brandon Hoerres and Tom “Robbo” Robinson. The final video features the riding footage that was saved during the filming of each of the original profiles along with with a ton of footage from the rest of the team.
I was going to drop a review tonight, thinking the video was dropping tomorrow, but now that it’s online, I figured I’ll just the rambling I would do talking about how good the riding footage from the team is and the film work that Richard Forne did for this one, and just let you enjoy it. I have also embedded all of the original Cool Story Bro videos for you to go back and enjoy again! So without further adieu, hit that play button to enjoy… Bro.

Dream It, Build It, Ride It

This video just made me want to build a mini ramp in my backyard so bad right now, haha. Robin Pearson spent a few weeks bouncing around the U.K checking out peoples ramp setups they built for this new Ride UK video. There’s some really dialed setups to some that have seen better days and a ton of great riding that went down. Check it!

“ In our latest issue (179) we have a big feature on England’s Private Outdoor Ramp Set-ups, covering Dorset, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Essex and Kent. The idea of travelling around England to shoot photos and ride at some of the coolest ramps out there worked out very nicely, it was a real treat – I spent several weeks riding some ramps with old friends and riding other ramps while making new friends. Alongside the article we can now show you the edit.
