Get A Look At The Huffy Quick Change Tube

December 15, 2021

Get a look at the new Huffy Quick Change tube.

Over the years there hasn’t been a whole lot of changes when it comes to the actual design of a BMX tube other than the Flybikes Cobra Tube that has been pretty tricky to get your hands on these days due to production issues. Well, it looks like Huffy have released a new tube called the “Quick Change Tube” using a similar concept as the Cobra tube, but a different design that “buttons” together versus the tube overlapping at the valve stem like the Cobra tube. Above is a video Mike Fede put together giving you a look at the tube and how it is installed on the bike. It’s definitely interesting to see another brand take on the challenge of coming up with a new tube design, making things more simplistic and requiring even fewer tools to keep the session going.

You can get more details and even order the tube on Amazon right here for $12.99.

A Look At How BMX Frames Have Changed In 15 Years

October 20, 2020

With how dialed BMX bikes have become over the years, it’s pretty crazy to look back and see just how much BMX frames have changed over the years. Mike Fede decided to dig into his stash of old frames spanning the past 15 years to look at just how much they have changed over the years from bearing styles, weight, geometry, designs, materials and heat-treating. This is a really cool look back for the older riders, and probably a pretty crazy thing to see if you are new to BMX and don’t know how we got to where we are these days with the quality of BMX bikes in a fairly short period of time

“Today it’s still a bit wet from the rain, so I decided to pull out some of my old frames I road over the years and take a look at what’s changed, and weigh them to see how far we have come with specs and materials! I hope you like this trip down memory lane. Let me know what you use to ride and what you ride now.” – Mike Fede

How To Turndown On A BMX Bike

September 11, 2020

If you’re trying to figure out how to turndown, but you can’t seem to get it figured out, here’s a video for you! Mike Fede put together this new video teaching you how to turndown on a BMX bike with plenty of tips and examples to help you get it done! Hit play, take it all in, then grab your bike and send it!

“A turndown is a tricky trick to explain and even more to learn. I hope this video helps with anyone trying to learn it and remember , don’t give up and keep trying until you get it. If you have any questions on this or any how to, put them in the comments.” – Mike Fede

DIY BMX Pegs

March 1, 2019

Mike Fede hit us with a link to a video from a little DIY idea he had saw a rider do, and figured he would test out. If you have ever wanted to try plastic pegs, but you don’t want to spend the money… Here’s a cheap option that apparently works… Sort of. All you have to do is get some PVC pipe that fits over your peg snuggly, and you’re good to go. Take a look!

I feel like this should have been in Dustin Lee‘s cheap man’s Top 10 BMX Life Hacks video.

“In today’s video we keep the plastic theme going from the last video with plastic tires, and now to PVC plastic peg sleeves. We went into it a little blind with the sizing of the PVC but we make it work.” – Mike Fede

“Today we decide to take one of johns ideas for the will it ride series and give it a try. This is pex pipe for tires. Pex pipe is a form of PVC that is flexible. This was a lot of fun to do and we plan on bringing it back in the near future with some added ideas.“

Mike Fede – Kicker Ramp At The Skatepark

February 21, 2019

Here’s a fresh video Mike Fede sent through from a session that him and a few friends caught at his local park, with the help of the Jumppack kicker. It’s pretty wild how you can come up with a bunch of new setups and lines at a skatepark with the help of something as simple as a kicker. This is more of a vlog, but it’s mostly all riding, so that works. Take a look!

“Today we brought out the jumpack kicker ramp for a session at Glasgow. moving the kicker around to different areas opened up more options, but it doesn’t always end well. Be sure to comment some future video ideas! Click that subscribe button and notification bell so you don’t miss a single video. Thanks for the support!” – Mike Fede

Scotty Cranmer – Flat Tire Death Gap 4

January 1, 2018

Scotty Cranmer decided it was time for one last game of Flat Tire Death Gap at the Incline Club before it closed…

With the Incline Club closing, Scotty Cranmer figured they better get as much out of the place before it officially closed today, so he had the crew play a round of the ever dangerous and hilarious Flat Tire Death Gap! Check out what went down and who ended up rolling away without a nail in the tire!

“We decided to do a flat tire death gap one last time at my skate park before we close down! A bunch of professional riders attempt to jump their BMX bikes as far as possible and they have to clear a bed of screws and avoid getting a flat tire to continue on! The record is broken in this challenge and two riders battle it out to be the flat tire death gap champion! Do not attempt this we are professionals.” – Scotty Cranmer

Scotty Cranmer – Blindfolded BMX Bike Battle

December 29, 2017

Scotty Cranmer had the guys toss on some Sleep Masks and play a few rounds of Footdown!

Playing footdown is already hard since you have to be completely aware of what is around you at all times so you don’t get dropped. When it comes to to riding BMX, being able to see what you’re doing a HUGE part of it. So, Scotty Cranmer and the rest of the crew decided to see what happens when you strap some sleep masks on and play a game of blind footdown. As expected, the end result was hilarious.

“In this video the boys had the idea of doing a blindfolded BMX foot down challenge and I thought they were crazy! Riding BMX bikes is very hard when you were blindfolded it’s almost impossible! In this video we do a tournament style game of foot down that requires a lot of balance and technique. Also in this game we have some new riders to the channel and they just so happen to be some of the best bike riders in the world! This game is insane but it was so much fun!” – Scotty Cranmer

Scotty Cranmer – Wheel of Misfortune Returns

November 21, 2017

The Wheel of Misfortune has made its way back to Scotty Cranmer’s channel…

Whenever the Wheel of Misfortune comes out, you know things are going to get interesting. After a little hiatus, Scotty Cranmer decided it was time to have the crew give it a go once again! This time around the whole crew decided to play a game of B-M-X with the wheel dictating what kind of add on they have to do for the tricks they call out. Check out what goes down!

“The crew got together at my skate park to play another game of wheel of misfortune on our BMX bikes! Ever since we came up with this game it has been a favorite of ours to play here on our channel! Competitive BMX tricks and different handicaps given to make them that much more difficult to complete! Even though the riders compete against each other they all had such a good time laughing the whole game! But at the end only one rider can become the wheel of misfortune champion!” – Scotty Cranmer
