BMX Street Style 2021 – Full Qualifying Highlights

March 16, 2021

Over the weekend the Monster Energy BMX Street Style contest went down in Arlington, Texas. You could watch the BMX Street Style 2021 – Live Stream Replay, but if you don’t have 4 hours, this recap should help! Check out 47 minutes worth of qualifier footage from everyone’s runs. Take a look if you got the time!

“WOW. I started editing this and halfway through I really regretted it. With the livestream, I’m not entirely sure how many people will watch this, but for the sake of being thorough (too thorough?), here are the full highlights from qualifying. Finals video will be dropping tomorrow morning.

Also, I’m sure you’ll notice that quality really, really drops on several of the final runs. Well, somehow, I didn’t load/deleted the footage from the main camera of the last (heaviest) group. Fortunately, I had the gimbal angle and the live stream as a back up…but yeah, kind of distraught about how that happened.” – Our BMX

Livestream is gonna (hopefully) happen…” – Our BMX

The sponsor news continues to flow! It looks like Felix Prangenberg will be feeling the energy in 2021 because he has been added to the Monster Energy team. This isn’t a huge shock since he’s been crushing it for a number of years now, and has been pushing things out in the streets hard. This should mean plenty more opportunities for Felix in 2021, so expect to see his name popping up even more than it already is!

Monster Energy – Pat Casey: Dream Yard 4

January 21, 2021

Dream Yard 4 has finally arrived!

Oh yeah! We knew we were in for a wild ride the second we saw the “Dream Yard 4” title pop up! Monster Energy have released the 4th installment of Pat Casey’s crazy Dream Yard series and it does NOT disappoint! Pat has been working on updating the yard, and has been putting in work absolutely DESTROYING the place! Hit play to take a look at the updated setup and non-stop bangers from start to finish! Not only that, but the filming and editing in this is crazy, too! Pat’s Dream Yard 4 video is an Absolute MUST SEE!

“The best backyard on the planet is back. Pat Casey drops in for the fourth installment of his Dreamyard series. What started in 2013 as a “basic” backyard ramp has grown in stages over the years: a massive set of trails were added in 2015, the ramp was boxed in and nearly doubled in size in 2017, and now, the ramps have evolved yet again. At nearly 10,000 square feet, the new additions include a truly daunting line that wraps around the entire structure—and an open loop. The one and only Dream Yard is bigger and better than ever, so watch as Pat breaks in the latest additions as only he can…” – Monster Energy

Rising Monster – Jose “Maligno” Torres

June 15, 2020

Monster Energy uploaded this new one featuring Jose Torres where he talks about getting into riding, then going all the way to the podium at the X Games. This is a rad story and there’s plenty of dialed riding mixed in with this, along with some footage showing how he keeps himself in shape for riding!

“José Torres A.K.A.”Maligno” has been collecting principal hardware in the BMX scene since picking up a bike at the age of 14. Becoming eligible for his first X Games, José took a serious fall at the ‘Road to X Games’ qualifiers leaving him with taxing injuries to his arm. After strenuous rehab and a mental rehaul, he got back on the bike and went on to win his first X Games medal at Minneapolis 2019. José Torres is the ‘Rising Monster’.” – Monster Energy
