Here’s an exclusive first look at a little gem Mutant Bikes are working on down in Portugal! Some of you might recall the Insight we dropped on their Peguard peg and hub guard combo a little while back. A number of you had mentioned it would be awesome if it was also available as just a guard… Turns out that they were already working on that as well! This guard is made from heat-treated chromoly and is designed to fit over all frames, drive and non-drive side. You simply slide it on your axle, slide your peg on and tighten it down and you are good to go! No word on the exact release date, but I could see a lot of people being psyched on this. I know the Peguard works great.

When you think about stylish riders, there are always a handful of guys that instantly come to mind and we would be willing to bet Kevin Kalkoff is one of those guys! Kevin has been blowing peoples minds with his riding for years now and after making some moves and joining The Shadow Conspircy and Subrosa’s line up at the end of last year, we figured an interview was well over due! We could have told you this one was a must see before even hitting play! Dan Foley coming through with some AMAZING riding (and dialed filming and editing as usual) to promote his new signature Cadence frame from Wethepeople! Hit play! You won’t regret it!
“One of the most naturally talented and stylish riders of his generation, Dan Foley’s recent addition to the WTP pro team was one we welcomed with open arms. Dan needed a frame that was both simple and elegant to match his riding style, yet at the same time strong enough to hold up to multiple kinds of riding. The Cadence frame was born from this very necessity and uses classic looks mixed Dan’s favored geometry and with our most up to date frame building technology. Dan wanted a taller 9″ standover and a slightly longer 13.6″ chainstay to keep this thing stable when blasting ramps, but a steep 75 degree headtube to make the Cadence as agile as possible during technical tricks. Despite it’s classic look, don’t let the Cadence frame fool you, this is one tough weapon with oval chainstays and double gussets up front.
