I woke up this morning to an email from Taj Liang over in China. Inside, there was a link to the new full-length Kapok video “Link” that features a ton of different riders from all over their country. This video is not only loaded with some great riding and awesome spots, but a really good vibe. It’s also a cool reminder that it doesn’t matter where you live, or how far apart you might be from others, if you ride BMX, you can and are apart of something bigger. BMX brought all of these people together and they created something awesome. Definitely check this out!
“A group of bmx riders come from different parts in CHINA,but all with one love on bmx. They keep riding for fun,for life, for their dream.
Thank you for sharing our best time and memories in this video,we “LINK” because what we love.

Here’s one we’re stoked on. Dave over at The Merged dropped an exclusive first look at the new Stealth Pivotal Seat System that Kink have just released. This system uses the same pivotal notching system, but instead of a bolt through the seat, it uses a bolt on the bottom similar to how the Tri-Pod system works. You can get all the details along with a closer look RIGHT HERE!

This past weekend was a busy one for Minnesota. Not only was this years BV JAM over the weekend, so was the annual 3rd Lair Jam that some of the locals up in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area throw! Our friend and photographer, Ben Austin made his way to the park to check out some of the good times that went down! He ended up with a bunch of photos from the day, so we figured it would be a good time for a new photogallery!
“3rd Lair just wrapped up their annual BMX jam, presented by the Skworl crew. This winter has been a historically cold one for the Midwest, and the local scene had been hurting for a chance to get together, hang out on the bikes, and have some fun. It was great to see all of the faces from near and far make it out. The contest went off without a hitch, and ended up being a really good time. Check out a few dimly lit photos from the day, enjoy!
Hosts: Skworl, Lee Mies, Mike Gelle
MC: Kevin Robinson??
Results:
Pro: 1st – Andreas White, 2nd – Derek Strong, 3rd – Jake Demuth
Bowl Jam Supreme Champ – Justin DeWitt
Best broken forks – Chass Uthe
Footdown Survivor – no one cares” – Ben Austin

It’s that time of the week again to give a look at some of the interesting threads that have surfaced on Bikeguide this week! Given, there have been a bunch of threads popping up, I was stoked on two in particular.
First up, if you caught our Frostbike coverage of Odyssey’s booth, you might have caught the prototype of the new hub guard that G-Sport is working on that goes over the drop out. There has been an interesting thread called GSport Private Part that has sparked up some discussion on this guard and the pros and cons for the design. There’s definitely some interesting stuff to see and read in there, so take a peek RIGHT HERE.

The second thread that I caught myself digging through for a while is the What Have You Made? thread! This one has been on the board for a little while now with 37 pages of stuff to see and covers everything from random projects people have done around their houses to non-BMX things they have made, to stuff like this wood kicker that was inspired off the Fly Bikes Coastin’ video, to a Kegerator lever somebody used a crank arm for. Well worth a look through! Check it out RIGHT HERE!

There’s literally thousands of threads to check out, so go hit up Bikeguide.org and have a look around!
Here it is! The new Shane Weston video from Fly Bikes you have probably been see in getting hyped up on Instagram or Twitter the past few days! Check out Shane putting a hurting on a bunch of rad spots, then take a closer look at his signature Isla frame and bars in a quick video below! This is one (or two) videos you don’t want to pass up!
““Shane’s one in a million, they definitely broke the mold when they made him, his personality is as big as his hair & matched only by his love for guttural screaming, bike throwing & basketball. It’s easy to see that he doesn’t follow a regular path and has a unique approach to riding, It’s easy to fit in, but it sets him apart from the crowd and his bike set up is designed to reflect his style of riding.
Enjoy watching Shane put his new and beefed-up Fly Bikes “Isla” signature line through its paces as well as give us the breakdown of the complete line and reason why its designed the way it is.”
You can find out more about the Isla line by checking the Fly Bikes Website out!
