Kent Pearson Interview

December 11, 2013

I’m not really sure when the first time I saw a video featuring Kent Pearson. Needless to say that the guy has been killing it on a BMX bike long before I even started riding and continues to do so today like a champ. I’ve definitely been a fan of his riding for quite some time now thanks to his creative front brake riding that always leaves me stoked and wanting more, it’s easy to say he’s one guy I always look forward to seeing something new from.
Recently when his latest edit dropped, it got me thinking that it would be awesome to get ahold of this guy and find out just what he’s all about. One thing lead to another and we got in contact and I quickly learned he’s a whole lot more than just a guy who knows the ways of the front brake magic game. I shot him a bunch of questions to get to know him, and here we are today! If this doesn’t get you excited about front brakes or at the very least really stoked on Kent, something is wrong with you! Enjoy!

Name: Kent Pearson

Here’s a little news for you. After years of being with the brand, Morgan Long has decided it was time to step away from the Stolen team. No word on his plan, but he has been getting flow from Fit Bike Co. for a while now so maybe there’s something more coming in that department.

“Morgan Long announced yesterday that he has decided to part ways with STLN. Morgan has been a staple part of the team since we picked him up years ago still fresh from Quincy with his Midwest drawl. We wish him all the best..”

Road Bike Party 2 – Martyn Ashton

December 10, 2013

Martyn Ashton is back again with another insane video of him getting ridiculous on a ROAD BIKE! This time around he recruited a few friends like Danny Macaskill to join him in filming for this one and all I can say is… MIND BLOWN. Enjoy!

“Incredible stunts and amazing tricks all completed on a £15,000 Colnago C59 Italia? It can only be a Road Bike Party! Lycra-clad trials legend Martyn Ashton’s first Road Bike Party was a YouTube sensation, so a sequel HAD to be made, bigger and better than before! Martyn was in the middle of filming when his life was transformed by an accident during a trials display which has left him paralysed from the waist down. Courage, determination and great friends have helped Martyn to complete his vision for what a Road Bike Party is.

Road Bike Party 2 features special guest appearances from two trials riding and YouTube legends, and music from Catfish and the Bottlemen with “Rango” (http://gcn.eu/1gVfrB5) and Capella.

In the words of Mr Ashton, “Party on”!

No bikes were harmed in the making of this film.
