Neil Waddington – Probably Alright
Here’s a rad one Neil Waddington sent through from his 2019 sessions for you to enjoy! Neil filmed these during his park, dirt and flatland sessions he caught. This year he wanted to push himself and not let his age get in the way of trying things he used to do or always wanted to try. It looks like it lead to a good year to us! Hit play and enjoy a bunch of great riding!
“If there was a theme to my approach to riding this year then it was probably this… Don’t tell myself that I can’t do/try something just because Im 46.
Over the past few years I’d go to parks and see a line I’d love to do but then tell myself “That’s something I’d do in my 20’s but not in my 40’s”.
This year I tried to change that…sometimes I made it…and sometimes I didn’t. But generally over the course of the year I felt better for giving things a try rather than giving them a miss!” – Neil Waddington
We Are Ride On
Whoever said “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” clearly didn’t ride BMX…
Now this kicks a ton of ass! Neil Waddington uploaded this new one called “We Are Ride On” that features a TON of the older guys out crushing it on their bikes, getting down on street spots, skateparks and trails. This video features riders as young as 35 and there’s even a 60 and a couple 50’s in there! This shows that despite a little age, some wear an tear on the bones and joints, that you can enjoy riding BMX far longer than when you’re “just a kid”. If you feel like you’re getting “too old” to ride BMX… Think again! Shout out to every single rider in this!
