“Between countless contests and endless filming missions, Garrett Reynolds is one of the busiest riders in BMX. We caught up with Garrett for a few days in San Diego to get this exclusive interview and some absolutely unreal riding footage. You’re going to like this…” – Nike 6.0
Harry Main, Garrett Reynolds, Jason Phelan, Alex Kennedy and Dennis Enarson are involved with a new project for Nike called The Pool. There’s no information on it being released and this is all that came with the video…
“Nike presents a new kind of show, with all your favourite stars.
The Pool, coming soon…..
However, I’m going out on a limb and saying Nike is putting on a bowl contest of some sort soon. Any other guesses?

Chris Courtenay is one of Colony‘s pros who has been getting back into the swing of things. About a year ago, Chris blew his knee out at the Red Bull Dirt Pipe contest and had been kept off the bike for about 7 months. Chris has been back on the attack these past few months riding harder than ever and even has a new signature sprocket coming through. I figured it would be a good time to find out a little bit more about Chris and see what he has going on these days. Check out what he had to say…

“Every year BSD holds a jam at Unit 23 skatepark, 2010 was different, this didn’t happen. There was a very good reason for this. With the help of Nike 6.0, a team of dedicated workers and a lot of blood, sweat and sleepless nights, Hall 2 at Unit 23 underwent an amazing transformation. Dave Sowerby created a new design and over a period of about two months, the old park was ripped out and rebuilt. The result being a rider’s paradise.
Given the promise of such a park, BSD felt it was only right to postpone the jam until the new set-up was ready.
Thanks to Nike 6.0 and Unit 23 skatepark without whom this jam would not have been possible.

There’s also an additional edit from the BSD Jam that premiered on DIG. You can check that out by taking the jump…

“The Nike 6.0/BSD Jam took place on Saturday 19th of March 2011. It was a massive event and attracted huge names in the sport of BMX including: Harry Main, Alex Kennedy, Alex Coleborn, Simone Barraco, Joris Coulomb, Dan Lacey, Kriss Kyle, Sean Lafferty Van Homan, Geoff Slattery, Matt Roe, Rubio, Disco and many more..
The turnout was fantastic and a huge amount of effort was put in by all the sponsors, Unit 23 Skatepark, Grant Smith and everyone else involved in the organisation of the jam. Hope you enjoy.”
