After 25 years, Penn Skate has closed its doors for good.
It’s always a bummer hearing about a park closing its doors, especially a park like Penn Skate that has been a go to park for East Coast riders for the past 25 years. Here’s a video Nilo Hodge put together from some of the final riding sessions that went down in the Little Devil Bowl and all over the rest of the park. It’s safe to say this place will be missed by many. Check out what went down during these farewell sessions.
“Penn Skate was one of the oldest, if not the oldest, indoor skate parks on the East Coast. After 25 years they closed their doors on January 1st, 2023. This video was filmed during the last few sessions at the park.

“August 2021 marked my 20th year of riding BMX. Through the years I’ve experienced a lot, met a lot of cool people and definitely struggled with injuries. I still make time to go out and ride after all these years.
