Karl over at Nowear hit us up with some news that they’re in the race for a shot at a $25,000 small business grant from FedEx and they need some help getting the support to get the votes they need to win! It sounds like the funds will be going directly towards a new park for riders, so let’s get behind this one! You can VOTE RIGHT HERE once a day for the next 28 days! Tristan Sagastume (TwisterX15) just dropped his latest Webisode over on his Youtube channel. He recently loaded up in his RV with his dad and took a trip out to Nebraska to spend some time riding with Karl Hinkley and the Nowear crew on their crazy compound filled with ramps! Nowear – Bring Your Own Bike Round 3: The Wine Glass Ramps

The final stop of the Nowear Bring Your Own Bike series from 2014 ended out in Kansas on the amazing Wine Glass Ramps! Check out all the highlights from the weekend that was loaded with nothing but goodness!

“This video is about the third and final round of the Nowear “Bring Your Own Bike” contest series of 2014. This was held at David McGinnis’s house in New Albany, KS. He calls his slice of heaven “The Wine Glass Ramps.” The entire weekend was crazy from storms the night before to a beautiful day with insane riding in every class. Vendors and supporters of Round 3 included Nowear Extreme Rider Apparel, Standard Byke company, Larson’s Mudslingers, Perfect High Five and XS Energy. Huge thanks to David McGinnis and his family for hosting Round 3. Nowear Cornhuckit Jam 2014

If you live in the midwest, there’s a good chance you heard about the different BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) jams that went down all summer thanks to Karl Hinkley and the Nowear crew! They ended up this years series out in the middle of nowhere Nebraska at the Nowear Compound that has everything a rider could ever want! Check out this video to see all of the riding and good times that went down because this is what it’s all about! Enjoy!

“The Nowear Compound in Unadilla Nebraska provides a riding area for training and jams for all BMXer’s. This video is highlights of our 2014 Annual Cornhuckit Jam. This year we added an indoor park in the barn where a Standard Byke Company mini comp was held. Dave Buseman won the pro class and Jacob Thiem won the amateur. A Mega ramp was also a new addition to this years event and a few dudes put it to great use, Danimal Nielsen, Danny Marking and Brad Williams put on an amazing show! Outdoor session on the trails, street a mini ramp were intense as always. Great atmosphere with support from great vendors like Crave, Perfect high Five, Larson’s Mudslingers bike shop, XS energy and more. “The Killigans” were nice enough to play the event and make this years jam one of the most memorable BMX events for so many riders. NoWear Cornhuckit Jam 2014 Edit

This past weekend, things at the Nowear compound in Nebraska got crazy for the annual Cornhuckit jam! This is the first video to surface from the weekend giving you a look at some of the riding that went down. I’d imagine we will be seeing plenty more here in the next few days!

Nowear – “Bring Your Own Bike” Round 2 Highlights

The second round of the “Bring Your Own Bike” Series was at the Nowear compound the other weekend! After weeks of hard work to get the yard dialed in, it looks like they had a hell of a good turn out and some amazing riding went down! “Nowear Extreme Rider Apparel is putting on a BMX contest series similar to the old grass root comps put on by Hoffman and others. Laid-back atmosphere with the main focus being getting the BMX community together to have a kick ass time at different underground locations. Rick Moliterno and Standard Bykes was the first to jump in behind the idea and is doing everything they can to help us make these comps rock!
