Check out highlights from the Middle of Nowear contest!

When the crew at Nowear throw a contest at the Nowear compound out in Nebraska, you know it’s going to be a good time! The Middle of Nowear contest went down a few weekends back, and it was a full house with riders from the young guns to the old dogs, along with plenty of Pros in the mix. Here’s a highlight video showing you all the crazy riding that went down. Check it!

“The third annual Middle of Nowear contest was off the hook! Every class threw down from beginners to old guys, culminating with 20 pro entrees batting it out for $5000.

The vibes could not have been higher. From the beautiful rider camaraderie, great local food, and stories shared around the campfire, it was a truly epic event that left everyone wanting more. This competition is here to stay with continued plans to run annually in April with a large pro purses and tons of prizes for all other classes.

Nowear BMX’s Michael Woodby and Jameson Keese in Barcelona, Spain!

Here’s a new video Nowear BMX released from a trip to Barcelona that Michael Woodby and Jameson Keese recently took! As you know by now, Barcelona has a never ending amount of street spots, and it looks like these two put in work on as many as they could during their stay. Take a look!

Last year BMX lost a good one when Jaramiah Droescher passed away. Karl Hinkley, owner of Nowear BMX, was close like Jaramiah and wanted to do something special as a tribute bike to him. Here’s a new video Bike Check where Karl gives you the full run through from the special colorway Nowear frame through a bunch of the Nowear parts, and parts from other brands that Karl is stoked on. The Final Nowear Cornhuckit Jam Highlights

Check out what went down at the final Cornhuckit Jam!

This past summer the crew at Nowear threw their final Cornhuckit Jam at the Nowear Compound in Nebraska! Although it’s definitely not the final event there, they put together one hell of a jam with a big turn out and no shortage of amazing riding and good times. Here’s a highlight video Brant Moore put together giving you a look at what went down!

“The 2024 Cornhuckit Jam went down September 14th in Nebraska and was an amazing time! The weather held out all weekend long to make for a picture perfect event. You could not have asked for a better weekend and we all know that Jaramiah Droescher was looking down on everyone ripping as they rode for Miah!

Countless hundreds and maybe even thousands of hours have went into building the Nowear Compound by an incredible amount of people. At the center are Karl and Carrie Hinkley. The Nowear Compound has outdoor ramps, trails, mega jumps using fmx ramps, a barn ramp, a semi drop, an indoor skatepark, a 40×40 flatland pad and so much more. All of this is free to ride by anyone year round!
All Karl asks is that people planning to visit reach out first.

The annual Nowear BMX Corn Huckit Jam is always a wild one! After I believe 10 years of the jam, they recently threw the final one. Here’s a video giving you a look at all the action from the jam. It might be the final Corn Huckit Jam, but we’re sure the Nowear crew will continue to do plenty more events in the future. Take a look!

“I headed out to Unadilla, Nebraska, for about 28 hours to film Nowear BMX’s last ever Cornhuckit Jam. Truly an oasis in the middle of nowhere, the Nowear compound is a massive, free, and welcoming action sports facility for anyone with the right attitude. Truly admirable work that that Karl Hinkley is doing out there, so thank you to him, his wife, and anyone else that props up their own BMX scene. We need you all. ” – Our BMX

The 2nd annual Middle of Nowear went down the other weekend at the Nowear Compound in Nebraska, and they had a big wad of cash up for grabs. Here’s a highlight video giving you a look at all of the crazy riding and good times that were had! As expected, it looks like Karl and the rest of the crew threw an amazing event.

“The Middle Of Nowear BMX contest had $6,000 in prize money and was CRAZY!!!

The Nowear Compound with on site indoor skatepark / pump track is a facility where all wheels are welcome FOR FREE! Coming off of the first Middle Of Nowear contest and an amazing Cornhuckit Jam in 2023, Karl Hinkley wanted to do take it another step further! This contest was incredible with the exact same level of support/cheering for the beginners as there was for the pros. Stay tuned and mark your calendars for The LAST Cornhuckit 2024 going down September 14rd!
