Deluxe – “Part Deux” Mark and Jeremy at Hills and Mountains

I’ve definitely been looking forward to Tuesdays more lately just because Deluxe has been dropping sections from their “Part Deux” DVD online. Here’s their latest section to hit the internet featuring Mark Potoczny and Jeremy Ball at the Hills and Mountains trails! So good.

For our second full-length film, we decided to mix things around from Welcome To Deluxe. This time out we ventured to some choice spots that our team riders created and nurture on a daily basis – from Southern California to Pennsylvania, from the Midlands of England to Southern France. We also took the team on tour to discover new spots, cook up some lines, throw some shovel-loads, and have a good time. Because that’s what we’re all about… enjoy.

Soul U.K Trails Trip

Soul loaded up Max Bimar, Berenger Cordier and Justin Fouque and took them to some of the best trails spots around the U.K to do some filming. They came back with this awesome video that’s loaded with style and good times. I definitely suggest you hit that play button.

Review: Deluxe – Part Deux DVD

For the last year I’ve been anticipating the release of Deluxe‘s second DVD, Part Deux. There’s something about the trails scene that never fails to leave my mind completely blown. In a BMX bloggers world that’s primarily dominated by videos of people doing barspins, tailwhips and grinds on street or flairs and tuck no hander’s to double barspins at the skatepark, there really never seems to be as much trails footage going around. I have noticed that there has definitely been a little more trails footage surfacing these days, but no where near enough. That’s why I got excited about this DVD. After waiting it out, the DVD was finally released this past week and I’ve finally had the chance to take a look at the video! Here’s what it’s all about…

There’s probably a good number of people saying “who is Patrick Best?” when seeing the title. Well, he’s the man behind the filming, editing and general production of the Welcome To Deluxe video that we had been premiering here the last few weeks. When Patrick isn’t busy working on the second Deluxe video (that’s in the process of being filmed now) or building trails, he works in the design field. I figured there’s a ton of people out there who are into photography, filming and editing and design so this was a no brainer to shoot him a few questions and find out a little bit about his work and how BMX has influenced his life. Welcome To Deluxe – Intro

Sorry if you came looking for the video earlier and it said you didn’t have permission. The video hosting was being transfered to a new server and in the process, the video was lost in the depths of the internetz. I’ve got it re-uploaded and ready for you to check out now!

Deluxe BMX presents “Welcome To Deluxe”. Over the next few weeks, The Union will be dropping each section of the Welcome to Deluxe video on Friday to start your weekend off just right.
Filmed over the course of the summer and fall of 2009, the Deluxe team spent some time on the road riding some of the U.K’s best trails. The team featuring Mark Mulville, Davros, Pompom, Frog, Max Bimar, and Aiden spent time at Barend, Organic, Aliano’s, Villij, Cothill, Chersey, Epsom, Wingham and Peynier while filming for this.

First up, the Intro which features Barend at night.
