After some time off his bike due to a knee surgery, Poiss Barbier is back on it! Here’s his latest BMX video packed with great riding from street spots over in France. No shortage of rad spots and clips in this one. Take a look!

“In 2022 I moved to Marseille in the south of France and filmed the SQYPHONE MARSEILLE project with the crew here. During that time I got better and better on the bike and by 2023 I got a new camera and wanted to film my best video part possible. Sadly a few month later I got a knee surgery but filming that video was always in my mind during the recovery time, I knew I would be back in the streets.

As I was back stacking clips I realised I needed to be better off the bike too, a better human, a better boyfriend etc and worked hard for that despite the knee, some teeth issues, a full time job and a family life & filming other projects. I managed to stack clips that im super proud off, but I realised, even if these are some of my best ones, I know I can do better that, I still progress and I still feel good.

When we see a video pop up from somebody we haven’t seen much of, there’s usually a story behind why from life getting in the way, injuries or illness. Poiss Barbier dropped us a link to a video that shows the riding he has been filming the past nearly 2 years as he battled anorexia. It sounds like Poiss has gotten things back under control and his recovery has allowed him to enjoy riding his bike again, which is amazing. Hit play to check out the clips! “After 3 years dealing with Anorexia, being too weak & cold to ride my bike. I’m proud of what accomplished in 2020.
During the last 20 months, I’ve gained 2 pants sizes, happiness, strength & motivation to ride my bike.
Filming these clips was not easy with a full time job in a supermarket a lockdown & chronic fatigue & water retention due to my body using all the energy from food to recover from 3 years off eating disorder, I had to eat A FUCKING LOT.
This is not my best riding, but damn, it feels good to finally put a video part online.
2020 was crazy.

Poiss Barbier coming through with a fresh video from the streets of Paris, France featuring him and his friends going to work on spots! As always, Poiss delivers a video filled with great riding and some clean film work, making for a great watch from start to finish!

“When Paris got free after the lockdown, my motivation to film with my people was 100%. We started some sessions & it kept growing.
Riding with young guns like Leo & OG’s like Yohan is making this episode special to me.
When you feel it, it works, you don’t need to force yourself. You go out, explore, ride, learn & create.
This episode was filmed in a few months, between full time jobs, classes, social lifes & my riding sessions.

I used my has been canon 600D, a fish eye, 50mm & my iphone.
Im proud of the crew, proud of my friends, proud of the result.

If there’s one good thing about being on lock down, it has allowed some people to take advantage of things they’ve been putting off or just didn’t have time to do. Poiss Barbier was slacking on putting some footage he’s been collecting together, but now that he has some down time, he whipped up the latest round of The Suburbs Are Dangerous featuring a handful of guys going to work on spots over in France. This has some real solid riding and clean film work, making for a good watch! Take a look!

“This one is a little different than the others.

We tried multiples times to get back to it, then lack of motivation, time, inspiration & adulting made me always leaving clips in my computer then not film for months.
Here we are, locked up saving the world. I decided to do something with some clips I found in leftover folders.

It’s the first video I edit in a year, good thing is, now I want MORE !

Poiss Barbier hit us with a link to his latest video that he put together from some time he spent cruising around Taipei during a recent trip checking out street spots galore and some of the parks in the area! This was all self-filmed and he managed to come up with a bunch of rad clips with his laidback, pegless style. This ended up being a real good watch, so hit play and take a look!

“I went to visit Taipei for 13 days, and got a serious jetlag.

Since my friend did not bring his bike, I woke up super early most of the time and decided to go for solo cruise around the city.
And found myself really exited to film little bullshits here and there.

Here is a compilation of the insta video I did, some clips are not great, it was just to show the spot to my friends.

You can also find some skatepark riding with the locals.
