For Us, By Us – Interlude

May 31, 2018

Check out this short but sweet video featuring Bevan Cowan riding a DIY spot!

Here’s a fresh one that Poiss Barbier sent through featuring Bevan Cowan getting down on a DIY spot on a rainy day! This has some clean film work and real solid riding. Well worth the look! Check it!

“That day I went to meet Bevan Cowan, looking to film in the streets.
When I was on my way, the rain felt and ruined the session.

We decided to go to have a look at this little DIY spot & see what we could do with it.

Making the best of what you have, is the way to do.

Stop waiting, do it.

For us, BY US.” – Poiss Barbier

Bevan Cowan – 3.6.5 Episode 4

May 28, 2018

Check out this sweet edit featuring Bevan Cowan going to work on spots in Australia…

Here’s a fresh one that Poiss Barbier sent through from his “3.6.5” video series! This time around he linked up with Bevan Cowan to get out in the streets of Australia and stack a bunch of great clips. Anyone that has seen Bevan’s riding before knows that he brings a lot of style to the table, and even without pegs or a freecoaster he can hold his own on street spots! Check out all these rad clips that were filmed in a pretty short amount of filming time!

“The first time I met Bevan, at Rampfest Skatepark, where he works, we went for a little street session and straight decided to work together on a video.

Bevan is all what 3.6.5 is about. Passionate, stylish and motivated to ride BMX.
After two or three filming sessions, he sadly had to go back to see his family back home in NZ after a family member loss.

Then when he came back, my friend was at the hospital with a broken knee so I was not really into filming and we decided to use the little time we had together, to ride rather than film.

Back in France, I was sitting on these clips and even if Bevan is capable of so much more, I really wanted to use them.

We are not pros, we are humans, we have lifes and we ride BMX.

We are the 3.6.5 and here is the 4th episode.” – Poiss Barbier

Ramp Demo at St. Kidla’s Festival Melbourne

February 16, 2018

Check out some BMX action that went down during the St. Kidla’s Festival in Melbourne…

Here’s a video Poiss Barbier sent over that he put together from some BMX demos that a few familiar faces did during the St. Kidla’s Festival down in Melbourne, Australia last week. This has a pretty chill vibe to it, but the guys all threw down some real dialed riding. Take a peek at what went down!

“On the 11/02/18 a BMX jam took place at the St Kidla’s music festival in Melbourne.
I hope you will enjoy the show as much as I did.

Riders : Jason Watts – Matt Whyatt – Jai Bradley & Chris Nicol.” – Poiss Barbier

Les Oublies #5

January 2, 2018

Poiss Barbier dropped the latest Les Oublies video!

Last year, crazy to think it’s already 2018, Poiss Barbier had a steady flow of videos popping up. It looks like he had some leftover footage, so he decided to put together this video with all the clips. We’re not sure how these were all leftover clips, but we’re just glad they made their way online finally. Take a peek! This is real solid.

“Here are some leftovers from various projects from 2017. Clips from Miami to Paris.”

Pierre Blondel – 3-6-5

October 29, 2017

Check out this fresh Pierre Blondel BMX video that turned out soo good!

Here’s a really rad video that Poiss Barbier put together featuring Pierre Blondel getting down on street spots and skateparks over in France. Pierre brings a laid back, effortless style to everything he touches and Poiss did an amazing job with the film work. This is a really good watch from start to finish, so get on that play button and enjoy!

“At 32, Pierre is a self made man, doing what he loves 365 days a year.

From making furnitures only with palettes wood, being his own boss, to eating beautiful healthy foods, or riding his bike, Pierre is a busy man.

The first time I met him, I asked Him if he wanted to film a video part, he was down at the first second.

More than a year later, I’m happy to present the project, and more, I’m happy to call Pierre, a friend.

Here it is, 3.6.5 episode 3, enjoy!” – Poiss Barbier

Les Oubliés #4

August 9, 2017

Poiss Barbier was sitting on a bunch of clips that didn’t have a home from his travels from the United States, France and Spain, so he decided to whip up this fresh video for your viewing pleasure. This has some real solid clips, great shots of the cities he visited and more.

“Here are some clips that never found home in a video. From MIAMI, PARIS, LYON & MADRID. Some are just terribly filmed, other are from project that never came out, and the rest have just been lost in my hard drive.

Enjoy!” – Poiss Barbier

Sqyphone – New York

March 7, 2017

It’s always hard going into a trip with a plan of what you want to make happen. It’s usually a fast track to disappointment since BMX trips, regardless of how much planning you put into it, will rarely go completely to plan. Poiss Barbier spent some time in New York City last summer, and had high hopes for a video that he hoped to make from the trip. Unfortunately it didn’t quite go his way, but he did decide to see what he could cook up from the trip. Had he not said anything the videos description, we probably would have had no idea that it wasn’t what Poiss had hoped for. Either way, he came through with a video that has some solid riding mixed in with a good amount of landscape and lifestyle footage that makes for an interesting watch. Check it!

“I came to NYC this summer, with the goal of filming the second episode of my SQYphone video series.
The city left me a little disapointed, and the project was killed-born at the half of my trip.
Back in France, i was mad, i was sad about this non-video and i mooved on.
But today i decided to do something with the footage i had.
Of course it’s far from the video i was hoping to do, but that’s life, here is SQYPHONE NYC.
” – Poiss Barbier
