Sneak Peek: Subrosa – Simone Barraco “Noster” Frame

Subrosa dropped this sneak peek of Simone Barraco’s signature “Noster” frame that is in the works. It’s only in prototype stages at the moment, so details won’t be available for quite a while. I’m sure this will be one of their Interbike premiers this year. Here’s a few words from Subrosa…

“Simone is in the office today hangin out, and working up some ideas for the graphics on his pro model Subrosa frame! Yes, we are currently working on a frame for Simone and he is testing out a sample frame now. We can’t realease any details on the bike now other than that it will be called the “Noster” and it means “our”. Simone wants to do a frame for eveyone, so that’s the direction we’re going with it. Look for more details soon, and if you happen to run into Simone on during his travels you can get a sneak peek at the prototype!”

Product: Profile Racing – Drive Side Hub Guard

It was announced a few months back that Jeff K and Profile were working on a new drive side hub guard for their hubs. Well, it’s finally done and ready for you to pick up. The guard is made from 7075 aluminum and replaces your cone spacer and jam nut. It also features an integrated “step” that fits in your drop out as a anti-roll pin. The guard is available in right or left hand drive with a weight of 2.2 oz. (63 grams).

Product: Kis Bike Co. – Seat / Socket Post

This is an awesome idea, unless you are some sort of weight weenie. Basically, Kis Bike Co. developed a pivotal post that has a 17mm socket built into the bottom. So now all you need to carry with you is an allen key to losen up your post and you can get to work on your wheel. Here’s what it says on their website…

“So, we want you to only need one tool in your pocket. The, unsung hero, the 6mm Allen key! With riders who use pegs, this became a bit of a problem. We worked on slotted bayonet fixtures and all manner of crazy peg designs and ideas for months until we realised, we really cannot change the function and powerful design of a peg. They take too much abuse to start making them in two parts. So… We did a bit of reverse thinking and developed this idea. The Integrated 17mm Socket set and seat post! Basically, you use your 6mm Allen key to take your seat and post out. Your seat and post then become your socket set for your pegs. So simple, so functional, and ideal for road-trips,at home or abroad.

The posts are long enough (135mm) for most pegs.”

Product: FBM – Holeshot Sprocket

FBM have a new sprocket for their line up. The Holeshot is a CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum sprocket that is currently available in 25 tooth for 22mm sprockets with a 19mm adapter. The Holeshot is available in black, red and raw with a weight of 2.6 oz.
