Down Time with Jeff Klugiewicz

Anyone that follows Jeff K on Instagram or Snap Chat probably has a pretty good idea that he has been off his bike for a couple months due to having wrist surgery. BMX is something that comes with a lot of risk and the injuries are inevitable.
So After 2 surgeries, a lot of cold weather and some time on his hands, Jeff has picked up some new interests to help him pass his time off his bike. We got pretty curious as to just what he was getting into with all of the down time he has, so we got ahold of him to find out what’s new and see some of his latest projects! Let’s take a look!

Profile Racing – Escape Tour – Part 1

A few weeks back, some of the Profile Racing crew met up down in Florida for some sun shine and spots. This video gives us a look at some of the park and street sessions that went down along the way with some of the locals. Take a peek and see all the goodness.

“Clips captured while on the road between Tampa and Miami. This is one of two edits I’ve put together celebrating a five day road trip I hated to see come to an end. And, one of several edits to come for this year as we travel, capturing whatever random events/riding go down.
Thanks to all of our friends for meeting up and making each session dialed. Looking forward to more of this over the course of the year.
To gallons of coffee, late night drives, shitty gas station food, delirious conversations …to BMX and the friendships involved.

Product: Profile Racing – 14mm Elite Hubs – Out Now

Here it is! We got our first look at these 14mm Elite hubs from Profile Racing last month at Frostbike, and now they’re available for everyone! The Elite hub is CNC machined right here in the U.S out of aluminum and features a ratchet ring with a one-piece chromoly 9 or 10 tooth driver with 6 pawls creating 204 points of engagement and sounds like a swarm of bees when you are riding and 5 sealed bearings to keep you rolling smooth. Now they have added the option of running a 14mm male axle for those of you who want to run the hub, but would also like to grind without the fear of wrecking the female axles.

You can pick this hub up in right or left side drive with colors of black, polished, matte black, red, blue, gold, green, purple, white and aqua for right side drive or in black and polished with only a 9-tooth driver option for left side drive (for now) or for existing Elite hub owners, a 14mm conversion kit has been made available that includes the axle, cones and jam nuts.

Profile Racing & Madera – Polar Sessions: Over The Top Session

Over the weekend, Profile Racing and Madera‘s Mark Mulville, Grant Castelluzzo, Mike Hinkens, Jeff Dowhen, Dan Kruk and Matt Coplon made a stop at Bluff Valley Campground’s Over the Top skatepark during their 2014 Polar Sessions trip between Wisconsin and Minnesota! This is a quick look at some of the riding along with some bonus clips of QBMX’s Glenn Dussl and BV local, Rahlin Rigsby! Nothing short of good times, that’s for sure!
