The end of July is already coming and we’re getting closer and closer to September when brands start premiering their newest products for 2014 at Interbike. However, that hasn’t stopped brands from dropping a few new items lately along with some already dialed parts that have been out for a little bit now. This week we’re going to take a closer look at the new 22mm Column cranks from Profile Racing, the 2013 Back To School softgoods from Subrosa, the Unity front load stem from Madera, the Old Schoolin’ snapback from Freed Bikes and then wrap it up with the Bama bars from Hoffman Bikes! Profile Summer Mix

Over the past couple of months Mike Meister and Wade Lajlar paid a quick visit to Florida. I used the little time we had to catch some clips with them at The Skatepark of Tampa. Then I met up with Mark Mulville and Chad Degroot for a day each in Orlando, and the result of all of that is this Profile Summer mix. It’s a good variety of styles and locations that should make everyone happy.

Ah, the long awaited and anticipated 22mm Column cranks from Profile Racing are OUT NOW! These cranks are made right here in the U.S with the same great quality of their 19mm cranks. The 22mm Column arms come in a length of 175mm (160, 165, 170 and 180mm available soon) and no sprocket bolt bosses and a 22mm, 48-spline chromoly gun drilled hollow spindle with 10mm aluminum bolts. The cranks are currently available in black only with a weight of 28.14 oz. (cranks and spindle). These will be available through Dan’s Comp shortly, but you can have your local shop hit up Profile Racing direct to get some ordered up today.
