Red Bull – Tyler Fernengel Rides the Silverdome – Teaser

There aren’t too many BMX riders that can say they have had free reign to ride an abandoned football stadium… Red Bull just released this teaser for Tyler Fernengel‘s new video that drops tomorrow. Based off these 46 seconds, we can already tell you this is going to be insane!

“For three years, the Silverdome — former home to football greats, wrestling giants, motocross legends and many massive sporting spectaculars — has sat empty and abandoned, 45 minutes north of Detroit.

Tyler Fernengel, a Michigan native of Wyandotte, just south of the Motor City, grew up attending the best sports events at the stadium and even raced Supercross as a young boy.

Though he recently moved to San Diego to pursue his career, Fernengel has always considered Michigan home and returned for the ride of his burgeoning career in the desolate and empty Silverdome.”

Red Bull dropped this fresh new BMX video featuring Daniel Dhers and Kenneth Tencio getting some riding time in at an old abandoned hospital! “Duran Sanatorium : near Carthage , just a few kilometers from the Irazu Volcano and covered by fog, the structure of an old hospital that was used to treat tuberculosis patients is maintained.

The architecture in its state of disrepair , its history and the play of light and shadows , make this amazing place is surrounded by legends of ghosts and apparitions. Anyone who has entered the sanatorium , I would say it feels something strange about him . Definitely not a place you want to stay alone at night .

Daniel Dhers, on his last visit to Costa Rica, met Pollis and together they decided to enter and explore the place.

Red Bull – Tip to Tail: Episode 3

The 3rd episode of Red Bull’s Tip to Tail New Zealandd trip featuring Mike “Hucker” Clark, Corey Bohan, Kris Fox and Jaden Leeming is now online and it’s packed full of goodness from a few of the stops they made along the way as they head south! The Moon Creek trails look so good! Enjoy!

“Episode three is a BMX action nirvana, taking us from front flips and crazy whips in Napier to the wall rides and big boosts of the incredible Moon Creek Trails in Motueka.

There is a giant ferry ride in-between, a concrete behemoth of bowl in Greymouth, and a crazy park set up in the sleepy town of Reefton. All the while the crew continues its slow creep southward towards the tail of New Zealand. It’s all in a day’s work when you’re half way through a 3200km road trip that is Tip to Tail.” – Red Bull
