Vans have released Part 2 of their “MASH” videos! Last week we got a look at the VANS “MASH” – TRANSITION video, now today we get the Street section that features the Vans Europe street guys absolutely CRUSHING IT. “Today we’ve got the second of the sick two part MASH mixtape series for you courtesy of the VANS squad! Since all their team projects had to be cancelled due to covid, their riders wanted to be active and do their part as soon as they were allowed to go out and be safe again. But with very limited travel options, they all kept it local in their region (or wherever was allowed) and asked their homies to press on that red button. Rich Forne then took the footage and created two heavy mixtape MASH videos.

The excursion capped a very unexpected 2020 and the much needed escape and reconnection of the team after such a long period apart inspired some heavy, creative riding. Not even the announcement that UK was about to return to lockdown, forcing the trip to be cut short could put a damper on the brief moment of collective good vibes. The shared time together reminded everyone that our family and friends are only a “Speed Dial” away.

Anyone who has rode BMX knows how much not getting a trick or not being able to do what you want on your bike will get to you. It will leave you thinking about what went wrong, how you can get back to it and what it’ll take to get it done. Seven years ago Anthony Perrin battled it out with a stair set and it didn’t work out as planned. Unfortunately the abuse he took from the slams kept him from getting what he wanted to do done. Here’s the story of how it all went down.

Unfortunately, after watching this all the way through, this isn’t a video of him going back and getting it done like we originally thought, which is a bummer since that’s what would have made this video great. But, it is what it is!
