Red Bull Skylines Official Highlights and Results

I’m honestly blown away by how far Red Bull took this event with the MASSIVE venue and huge ramps. This one is definitely one for the history books for sure. Check out some highlights above along with the results and a full press release below.

“Paris, 2 November 2012. Everything was big at the Grand Palais in Paris, France tonight as 5600 spectators showed up to see 25 top pro BMX riders compete for the Red Bull Skylines title. BMX legend Ryan Nyquist (USA) beat the pain to step it up one more time in the final in front of a roaring crowd and won the Best Trick award with a cannonball double barspin at the same time. Place two went to San Diego local Dennis Enarson who also got voted by his fellow riders as Skylines rider of the week. Red Bull rider Daniel Dhers (Ven) turned it on and finished third in Paris.

The set up impressed everyone who stepped inside the Grand Palais building. With its tall glass roof, the monumental place was a perfect venue for the event. 11 truckloads of pre-built ramps had been put together to form the biggest BMX park course at an event ever. The original design had the riders buzzing and they showed that in their riding. It was either going big, or going home.

Says winner Ryan Nyquist: “When I heard about this contest I just had to be there. Having a BMX contest inside an amazing venue like this is incredible. With the gigantic ramps, and the group of riders who were here, you could expect things to go nuts.” He continued: “Things were done the right way in every way and that reflects in the riding. I’m so stoked I pulled the tricks I wanted to do and getting the win feels awesome.”

The event was one of the biggest BMX events France has ever seen. The crowd left wondering what’s next. The sky is the limit?

Red Bull Skylines – Street Warm Up

While everyone was waiting for the Red Bull Skylines course to finish getting built the other day, Hadrien Picard went out with Dennis Enarson, Gary Young, Dylan Stark, Ruben Alcantara and a few others to get a warm up session in. Red Bull – Stateside 2012 – All Sections

The Red Bull New Zealand crew made a trip up to the U.S back in September to road trip across the country. We’ve got all 4 sections for you to check out so get to it. These guys all kill it and it looks like they had a real good time in the process.

“Red Bull Stateside sees New Zealand BMX riders Jaden Leeming, and George and Louis Bolter hit the road in search of the best spots to ride through California and Las Vegas. In the first part of the trip, the crew meets up with Anthony Napolitan for some epic sessions throughout SoCal.”

“Red Bull Stateside sees New Zealand BMX riders Jaden Leeming, and George and Louis Bolter hit the road in search of the best spots to ride throughout California and Las Vegas. In the second part of the trip, the crew hits up the legendary 605 ditch before cruising the Venice Beach boardwalk. The boys head to Chino Hills for a park session before heading to Sin City to wrap up their trip.”

“In the third episode of the Red Bull Stateside tour, BMX riders Jaden Leeming and Louis and George Bolter arrive in Vegas to attend Interbike and Nora Cup then hit the parks of Sin City.”

“In the final episode of Red Bull Stateside, the crew head out to the original Woodward East before making the journey back to New Zealand. After practicing some new tricks into the foam pit, Jaden and the Bolter brothers reflect on their memorable stateside visit.”
