Mongoose Jam UK 2016 – Street Section

Here’s a look at what went down during the Mongoose Jam UK Street section! This one is unique because of how diverse the styles of riders who threw down for this, making for a really good watch from start to finish. Get on it!

“Day two started with the winning AMs joining their Pro teams for the street comp at Rush Skatepark in Stroud, UK. Each athlete had two 45 second runs, best score counts. All team members were welcome to ride. But, only the top two scores from each team counted towards their overall score.

The large street course gave riders a ton of options for all styles from long technical combo lines to burley gaps. The AMs took full advantage of what the course had to offer with guys like Dan Allington doing no foot nose manuals across the entire 50+ foot deck above the stair set, Leon Williams with a nose bonk 360 over the ledge-topped pyramid and Ross Domanski tail whipping off a banked wall.

Murray Loubster was riding with an injured thumb he had dislocated the day before in practice. But, you couldn’t tell with the clean lines and landings he was pulling. Kriss Kyle was smooth as always with an alli-oop 360 out of the curved all ride and simple but styley fast plant off the ledge-top pyramid. Alex Donnachie showed off his down-rail skills with a fast plant to ice down and a double peg to 360 up. But, one of the crowd favorites was Kevin Peraza’s entrance into his run with a truck driver from the park course into the street course as well as a nose wheelie to 180 down one of the big ledges.

The Coming of The Common Crew

There’s no doubt that the Common Crew have been making some serious waves since they started popping up. They quickly became this crew that has produced some serious talent that have found theirselves on different teams from the AM to the Pro squads and more. They have all been working on their full-length video for a few years now and with that dropping soon, Ride BMX decided to catch up with them to learn a little bit more about the crew. Watch as Julian Arteaga, Ethan Corriere, Francis Castro, Jacob Cable, Alec Siemon, Denim Cox, Sauce and Devon Smillie all throw down and talk about what each guy is like.

Division Brand – Wolfgang Ray: 21 Days in Melbourne

Division Brand‘s connect over in California Wolfgang Ray recently hopped a plane over to Melbourne, Australia to spend a few weeks cruising the street spots and get some filming done. Vans BMX Street Invitational – Day 2 Practice

Vans BMX Street Invitational 2016 – First Practice

The Vans BMX Street Invitational is going down this weekend and it looks like Chad Kerley, Nathan Williams, Dakota Roche, Bruno Hoffmann, Calvin Kosovich, Corey Martinez, Alex Donnachie and a few others have arrived and started cruising the park to see what they can dial in for lines for the contest. “The vibe today was mellow with just over half of the 20 riders set to ride in the first ever Vans BMX Street Invitational on course. And, with a very open practice schedule (a good thing) of 9am-6pm, the dudes were pretty spread out. So I kept it the same and simply put together a quick-hit chronological cut of what I filmed over the four hours I was there. Sorry about the wind noise; apparently my little wind sock can’t handle high-speed lines. But enough of my little excuses…it’s quite obvious that this event is gonna be dope. Cult – Chase DeHart: Five Days In SoCal
