Here’s a look Animal‘s recent print ad featuring Nigel Sylvester and the New Era collaboration they did. This ad can be found in issue 186 of Ride BMX!
Wethepeople Trust Complete Session
Wethepeople have been doing an awesome job of showing just how well their 2013 bikes hold up to some actual riding lately. Check out this video of some of their team getting down on the Trust Complete fresh out of the box.
“The wethepeople crew consisting of Dylan Stark, Chester Blacksmith, Andrew Jackson, and Pete Sawyer came through the Transworld Skatepark last week and did some riding on one of their Trust complete bikes, which you can view in our Monday Edit above.” – Ride BMX
How To Fastplant 360 with Pete Sawyer
Ride BMX caught up with Wethepeople‘s Pete Sawyer to get the low down on Fastplant 360’s. This is a rad trick so give it a look and then go give it a shot.
“Pete’s got this trick pretty much wired and has a super crisp style to his fastplant 360s. While at the Transworld Park, he took some time to give everyone some tips on how to dial them in–check them out above.”
Tip Plus Backyard Sessions
Damn! This new Ride BMX dropped from a heavy session that went down at Tip Plus is so good. You definitely want to check this out!
“A lot of Tip Plus riders were hanging around the building last week and riding the semi-new ramps that have been seeing some action as of their existence. Check out a few sessions of riding from JJ Palmere, Shawn McIntosh, Miles Simone, Timmy Theus, Chris Brown, Anthony “Boy” Flores, and Jackson Ratima. Thanks to Aaron Brennar for the assistance with the camera.” – Andrew Brady
Happy Hour with Tony Neyer and Van Homan
This is definitely pretty interesting. Injuries will happen, but there’s definitely a good way to recover from it and there’s definitely a bad way. Van and Tony talk about how they got back to their old selves in this quick video!
“Tony Neyer and Van Homan suffered a tibia and fibula breaks just a week a part from each other in 2012. Both of them are back on their bikes at this point, due to taking care of themselves during their down time. While Van was in town a while back, we sat down at a local restaurant during happy hour for some dinner, drinks, and discussion between Tony and Van about recovery. I see a lot of riders, especially younger ones out there that are just dying to get back out there and go full throttle again right away after injuries–unfortunately, this really isn’t the way to go about it and Van and Tony share some good advice on the issue.” – Ride BMX
Craig Passero Bike Check
Head over to the Ride BMX website to get a closer look at Craig Passero’s current unit. I’m not sure where the beast mode button is on that thing, but Craig is an animal so there’s gotta be one somewhere.
Sean Ricany & Connor Lodes in California
East Coast meets West Coast… in California. Check out Sean Ricany and Connor Lodes throwing down some damn good riding in this new Ride BMX edit.
“It’s funny how things work out. I’ve been sitting on some Connor Lodes footage for way too long (we’d planned on finishing an edit and bad luck kept getting in the way of finishing it off) and recently, his Premium teammate Sean Ricany recently came to town. Sean and I had full plans on finishing a full edit, but a cold/flu had him down for the count after the first two days of filming. Since Sean caught a flight home to Jersey last week, I figured it would be a good idea to put together the two for a mix edit, which you can check out above.” – Andrew Brady
Eddie Cleveland Off Fit, On Stranger
Spotted this over on Ride BMX and thought it was pretty interesting. Eddie Cleveland is no longer riding for Fit Bike Co. and has already found himself a spot on the Stranger team. Here’s a few words from Rich Hirsch about the news.
“Eddie is one of my favorite riders of all time and after a bit of a wait we can now officially announce that he will be riding for Stranger from this point forward. Eddie is a natural at everything he does and has a lot of new shit going on this year that your not going to want to miss. More to come soon. Also we are launching our new website next week so make sure and stop by!”
