Jason Eustathiou – Torino City Lines

January 4, 2018

Jason Eustathious goes to work on the streets of Torino, Italy for his latest BMX video…

You can always count on Jason Eustathiou to come through with the goods. Here’s a fresh BMX video from some time Jason spent exploring the spots around Torino, Italy. We don’t see a ton of footage coming out of Italy and it’s safe to say Torino is a pretty untapped place. Based off this video, it looks like the city has plenty of great spots to ride and Jason put a bunch of them to great use. Hit play and check it out!

“We’re always hyped to see footage from Greece’s Jason Eustathiou and this time he’s been busy in the streets of Turin (or Turino if you have the euro flair), a city nestled up in the north west of Italy. Despite some drastic weather changes, broken wheels and a big slam, Jason managed to lay down a bunch of his signature tech lines. That last clip is butter!” – DIG

“Back in the end of July we visited the city of Torino in Italy along with Jason Eustathiou for bmxday jam…we thought it would be a good idea to extend the trip for a few days in search of some fresh spots. With the help of the local riders we pedaled (a lot) to some really good locations around the city, not everything came out as we planned due to some incoveniences such as weather changes (from super hot to uber rain) ,bike problems such as broken wheels and chains and non the less a big crash of Jason…of course that didn’t stop him from filming his technical lines, although he was a bit dissapointed that he couldn’t charge a couple of big moves on some really sweet rails that he had left for our last 2 days there…but in the end like in every trip, you get to see new places , ride new spots, meet a bunch of interesting people and nothing else matters!“ – Ronny Skevis

Photogallery: Panagiotis Manaras on Tinos Island

The other day, our friend Ronny Skevis, hit us with a selection of photos from a trip to an island we had never heard of called Tinos Island that he took with Panagiotis Manaras last month. Now, we know about Panos and Ronny and how good they are on a bike and behind a camera, but we had no idea what this island was hiding for riding spots! After checking out the amazing photos, we quickly realized that this island is definitely an untapped gem. We asked Ronny if we could run the photos in a photogallery so you guys could get a look for yourselves and here it is! Definitely check this one out!

A few months ago I received a phone call from Panagiotis Manaras asking if I was available for a photoshoot for one of his current sponsors, Vodafone CU! Of course I gave him a positive response and after a few weeks we loaded up Panos’ 4×4 with his bike, his monkey scooter and some surfboards and we headed to the port for this island called Tinos in the Aegean sea!

My first thought was why would they send us to an island? And why that one specifically? Tinos is an island known for its religious tourism, there was some kind of a big tradition being held there August 15th where a lot of people go there to pray and practice one of the weirdest rituals… They kind of crawl on their knees on a carpet for 1 kilometer up to this temple dedicated to the Holy Mary and ask for forgiveness or just pray for blessing. Fortunately or unfortunately we were there during the first week of August so we didn’t really see it happen, although we spotted a few people practicing the knee bending rituals during our stay…

Anyways, I guess the reason they sent us there was that Tinos is a big island and it had a lot of possibilities to score some decent riding spots. With a bit of creativity and Panos’ riding skills, we managed to take more photos than expected. So here you can see some of the action that went down during our trip! I’ll try to explain everything through the images! – Ronny Skevis

This was one of the first photos we took. Sunset shots are always a treat! Panos spotted this bench, so I set up my camera and flash and he gave it a go! The funny thing is that there was this cafeteria across the street and some people had an eye on what we were doing. About 10 minutes after we had left, Panos received an iPhone photo taken from one of the guys watching us on his Facebook profile of him bunny hopping with a message saying “I saw you! ”  from this dude that we didn’t even know….
