“With the 2014 product line already arriving in countries such as Asia, Australia and about to hit the USA and European shores, we’re pleased to release the digital version of the new 2014 catalog online for your viewing pleasure.
For this years catalog, we’ve changed things up a little and combined amazing photographic content from our recent Fly Bikes project, “Coastin” trip while also continuing our classic styling of including team riders comments and testimonials, talking about the latest features they’re excited about and benefits of the parts they helped design and use and abuse on a daily basis. The latter portion of the catalog is a little more traditional featuring detailed product illustrations and specs on parts and bikes from the 2014 Fly Bikes line. We hope you enjoy.
Be sure to check back regularly for the launch of the new 2014 website.“
Fly Bikes – “Coastin” Part 1
Fly Bikes is always cooking up something unique and this video they just dropped is nothing short of unique and phenomenal. The team recently spent some time in Malaga together where they used some ramps they built to create some crazy spots. Check out this video because it’s too damn good to miss!
“With a little throwback to its roots and the Flybikes “Uno” video of a few years ago, and with interests outside of just riding bikes ranging from skating to surfing, the Fly crew’s DIY approach and guidance of semi local Ruben headed up along the Northern Coast of Spain bringing it’s own makeshift, versatile and sometimes maybe a little sketchy pallet inspired ramps to create something “more” than was really out there originally, on some of the most unique and scenic locations in the world, making “almost spots” into some of the most amazing and rideable spots ever! Enjoy the ride with the Flybikes family. Ruben, Sergio, Devon, Stefan, Kevin, Chris, Roey and Courage in Flybikes “Coastin”. Video filmed, directed and produced by Lee Turner and Flybikes.“
Terrible One – Freaky Friday: SoulParks Project One with Ruben Alcantara

Check out photos above along with a little Q&A action about what went into this park. All I know is I NEED this place in my life!!!!
Red Bull – Sebastian “Bas” Keep: Quarter Master
Ho…ly… shit. I knew this was going to be gnarly when the trailer dropped last week, but damn this is crazy. Check out Bas Keep, Ben Hennon and Ruben Alcantara absolutely ROASTING one of the biggest dirt quarters ever. So good! Must See for sure!
“When Sebastian “Bas” Keep started on his Quarter Master project he had just one aim; he wanted to go bigger on dirt than he had ever been before.
Bas found the owners of the Revolution Bike Park in Wales receptive to his plan of building a huge 26ft dirt quarter pipe within their grounds. The idea to build the quarter pipe came to Bas around five years ago when he approached Red Bull with a simple sketch drawn on a piece of paper.
Fellow Brits, BMX rider Kye Forte and mountain bike legend Dan Atherton, helped turn Bas’ idea of the 26ft quarter pipe into reality. Both have considerable experience of building dirt jumps and were all too happy to help in this project.
Once the four month build was completed, Bas couldn’t wait to ride the quarter pipe and invited Ben Hennon and Ruben Alcantara to join him to ride the beast to see how big they could all go.” – Red Bull
The Birth of Soulparks
If you follow Ruben Alcantara on Instagram, this news might not be a huge surprise because he is constantly posting up photos of cement parks that are being constructed. Now, it might have seemed that he was just a really big fan of the construction process, but there’s more to the story than that. Ruben and his friend and skateboarder, Aitor Veguillas, have started a skatepark design and construction company called Soulparks. Between the examples from their work they already have done and Ruben’s knowledge of proper cement waves, this can only mean that this is only going to lead to some incredible park. Check out their website for more info! I REALLY wish I had a huge sum of money and land to have them do a park for me right now… Anyone want to donate? haha
