Scotty Cranmer Wins Vital “Rider of the Year” Award

The guys over at Vital BMX surprised Scotty Cranmer with their “Rider of the Year” Award…

This is pretty awesome. Kyle Carlson from Vital BMX took the trip over to Scotty Cranmer‘s neck of the woods to surprise him with the Vital “Rider of the Year” award for the huge impact he’s made just from his recovery, everything he’s done with his Youtube channel and much, much more. Check out the video Scotty posted from the surprise, then get another perspective from Kyle’s video below. Stoked to see Scotty win this award. Well deserved. Scotty’ video also has footage from a session the guys got in on the resi section at the Incline Club.

Last week Scotty Cranmer announced that the Incline Club would be closing down after 18 years. With just a few days left before the end of the month and the final day of business, the crew are trying to get in their last sessions at the place they have called home for nearly 2 decades. Hit play to see what Matty, Big Boy, Cory Berglar, Brooklyn, Vinny Mannino, Jared Heitzman and more threw down!

Just when you thought you couldn’t get any fancier than the Ghetto Gold, the Double Stack Ghetto Gold comes rolling into Scotty Cranmer‘s shop. Here’s a look at what happens when you try and ride a double decker bike at the Incline Club! Big Boy, Matty Cranmer, Vinny Mannino and Jared Heitzman take on the challenge.

“Our friend Mike made us a new crazy ghetto gold double bike to add to our collection! We decided to try and ride it at the skate park and things got crazy pretty quick! This bike is so scary to ride and bring it on ramps makes it 10 times scarier! Big boy did a fakie challenge, jared did a vader slide, Matty ripped his pants, and Vinny fell off the side of the ramp and Jared caught him! At the end all the guys tried to ride on it at the same time and they completely destroyed the back wheel! We had so much fun!” – Scotty Cranmer

Scotty Cranmer’s Incline Club Skatepark Is Closing Down After 18 Years

The Incline Club will be closing January 1st, 2018…

Here’s some news we didn’t see coming… Scotty Cranmer has announced that the Incline Club will be closing down on January 1st, 2018 after 18 years of good times. It sounds like it was a hard business decision to make between the cost of running the park, the lease on the building and more. Scotty’s video today breaks the news, followed by a look back at a bunch of great memories from the place over the course of the past 18 years. It sounds like Scotty is working on figuring out a new location and will, hopefully, be re-opening a new park in the future. They will be throwing one last bash on December 30th, so make sure you get to that if you’re looking for your last session at the park!

“After 18 years my skate park, The Incline Club is officially closing down. I am sad to see it go but I can’t help but smile when I think about all the amazing memories this place has given me and thousands of other people around the world! In this video I decided to find some old video of the amazing moments that I have had because of this skate park and relive them again with my YouTube channel! There were tricks that were invented inside this building and friendships that will last forever! In this video I also announce the final lock-in that we are having and also the final session of the skate park on December 30th. As sad as I am to see the skate park close down I am excited about the future.
