Scotty Cranmer – Vans US Open: Day 4

Scotty Cranmer dropped the 4th video from his trip out to California for the Van Doren Invitational. This video starts out with some practice on the course, followed up by a session at the Vans HB park for BMX Day, then Big Boy wraps things up with an explosion. Check it!

“Day 4 of our California trip once again starts at practice for the bowl event. but this time we are all starting to dial in our runs for friday’s qualifier. After flowing around the concrete bowl on the beach we drove over to the Vans Huntington Beach Skatepark! This park is amazing and today happened to be the BMX day of the week so we got the camera out ingot to work! Big Boy started out with a Flair Challenge and took a spill in the bowl and realized just how hot concrete in California gets! Matty did some technical tricks like 360 to foot jam and he tried to nose manual around the whole bowl! after 30 trys i finally landed the flair to tail tap then decided to get a little crazy and play around with the cement wall next to the bowl! First attempt i actually fell over the wall onto the train tracks.. then I learned my lesson and finally landed on the wall to tail whip in! Matty did a crazy suicide gap over the vans sign! Then I did a trick that i have been wanting to do since I first saw the park being built, I did a 360 tail tap to tail whip down it! Big Boy then filmed a little kid grind the biggest rail at the park so we decided to try and talk Big Boy into it! After 10 minutes Big Boy broke down and said he would do flair to oppo flair on the concrete bowl!! With pretty much the whole skatepark watching Big Boy dropped in and blew everyone’s mind! and we end off the night with a potential world record attempt that will go down tomorrow!”

Scotty Cranmer – Vans US Open 2016: Day 3

Scotty Cranmer keeping his promise of putting out a video every day from his trip out to California for the Van Doren Invitational. This starts out at practice for the contest, followed up by a session at Sheep Hills, along with some fun and a Matthias Dandois demo. Take a peek!

“Day 3 of the California trip and we start off once again at the concrete bowl on the beach for the Vans BMX competition! Practice was insane and there were a few crazy collisions so i decided to wait until tomorrow for the divided heat practices to ride. After practice we took a trip to the legendary Southern California dirt jump spot called Sheep Hills and we got to ride with some really cool locals! Big Boy derailed and crashed into the back of a landing! Then me and Matty dropped a few big moves on this perfect dirt jump! I did a double tail whip and a back flip no hander and matty did some awesome 360 variations! Then we wrapped up the session with Big Boy attempting a flair challenge on dirt and he failed 3 times and broke his butt on 1 of them! It was so much fun! After that we all took a ride to the beach to watch the Vans BMX video Illustrated in which i have a part in! It was set up next to the pier and there were a ton of people hanging out and watching! This trip is so much fun! and it’s only day 3! ”

Scotty Cranmer – Van Doren Invitational 2016 Day 2

Scotty Cranmer dropped the 2nd video from his trip out to California for the Vans Van Doren Invitational in Huntington Beach. This video starts out with a little bit of practice, then a ditch session at a legendary spot, followed up by a full tour of the Cult warehouse, followed up with some laughs at the house they’re staying at. Expect plenty more over the course of the next few days!

“Day 2 of our California trip! Practice for the Vans BMX bowl competition has officially started! 30 of the best riders in the world are competing for top honors on an insane temporary concrete course built on the beach! I was invited to compete and my little brother Matty was invited to compete as an alternate! So Matty needs to ride his best so he gets hand selected by the judges to ride in the event and Matty is on fire! He was going so fast and so high while doing some original lines mixed with big tricks like flairs and even backflips over the spine! after practice we went out for lunch and then Trey Jones took us to this top secret cement ditch that you can ride as a halfpipe! We all got some tricks on there! Big Boy got a flat! After the ditch we stopped by the Cult BMX warehouse and hangout with the owner Robbie Morales! Back at the house we were all hanging out in the kitchen bored when we decided to play a game with Big Boy! We put about 20 different household sauces, spices, dressings, coffee, Dr. Pepper, cookies, pop corn, and worchester sauce in a cup and Big Boy had to tell us what he tasted!! Then we made a bet, $100 if he drank the whole thing! He failed miserably! He took 1 sip and threw up everywhere! We are having too much fun here!”

Scotty Cranmer – Vans US Open 2016: Day 1

Scotty Cranmer and crew have headed out west for the Vans US Open that’s going down this week out in Huntington Beach. Similar to how Scotty did the X Games, he will be putting out videos giving you a look at what he’s getting into each day. “We made it to California! We are spending the week in Huntington Beach for the Vans BMX competition at the US surf open! Matty Cranmer, Big Boy, Trey Jones, and myself are out here ready to have an epic week and we are filming the whole thing! The trip started out with a bang as Big Boy, not even 100 ft away from the house we are staying at, got all jacked up on adrenaline and tried to nose manual the median of a highway and then someone spotted Big Boy yelled his name as he crashed into Trey and flipped the handlebars right into the Pacific coast highway! OMG! it was the most epic thing I have ever seen!! Big Boy was in a ton of pain but due to all the girls pointing and laughing in Bikinis he got up and rode away bruised but not broken! Such an amazing start to the week and we plan on uploading a new video every day for you guys!”

Scotty Cranmer – BMX Lottery Lines 2

The ping pong balls have come back out for another round of BMX Lottery Lines for Scotty Cranmer‘s latest video. The format is pretty simple, pull out 3 of the balls with different tricks and do them all in a single line. If you can’t pull it off, you’re out and the last one standing wins. Who the winner is? You will have to hit play and see for yourself!

“We finally got around to playing Lottery Lines again! After the positive feedback from everyone I knew we had to get one going ASAP! We all met at the incline club skatepark and battled it out to see if anyone could dethrone the defending champion Vinny Mannino! Some crazy lines were thrown with some insane tricks and we all had some very challenging combination but only one person was able to walk away with the title! Big Boy had a hard time from the set go! And Matty Cranmer may have had the hardest run of the night while Scotty Cranmer picked the easiest combo! But that’s what’s so awesome about Lottery Lines!”

Scotty Cranmer – Drum Point Skatepark Session

Scotty Cranmer coming through with a BMX video from a session he caught with most of the crew at the Drum Point Skatepark out in New Jersey. This prefab skatepark has a bunch of options for riding and it looks like all of these guys were able to cook up some dialed clips in the park and off a very massive truck. “We took a trip over to Drum point skatepark in Brick Township, NJ to ride this legendary pre-fab skatepark! The whole crew rolled up and it was definitely a hot one! Big Boy, with his brand new Cult Frame got right to work with a Flair Challenge and he was really scared to try it! He crashed really hard the first attempt and the n landed the flair on the next attempt! Cory Berglar was on fire doing some really clicked turndowns and even pulled his fake challenge! I did some tricks that i was really excited about includinga 180 to smith to 540 out! Then Jake and Pete with their massive lifted ford truck stopped by and I talked them into letting me do a tail whip out of the truck as it pulled away! It was pretty crazy! Such a fun day on the BMX and another fun video!”

Big Boy Builds A New Bike

It looks like Big Boy has himself a new setup that he’ll be riding around on in Scotty Cranmer‘s videos. Hit play to watch Big Boy struggle trying to build up his brand new Cult Stone Cold frame, along with plenty of laughs and a little bit of riding along the way. Not going to lie, that orange does look good.

“Big Boy just got hooked up by Cult thanks to his best friend and a channel favorite Trey Jones! Cult sent Big Boy shirts, hats, socks, and a brand new Stone Cold Cult frame with a 21 inch top tube! Big Boy was so excited to get this bike all built up so we went over to my bike shop and decided to do a build video for you guys! Big Boy is not the best mechanic out there so i knew this video was going be very interesting! Cory Berglar and myself were there for support and Big Boy had us laughing the whole time! After the bike got built up Big Boy decided to test it out and make sure everything was dialed in. He then finished the build off in normal Big Boy fashion by eating a huge cup of ice cream!” – Scotty Cranmer

Scotty Cranmer – Cory Berglar Battles Backflip

Cory Berglar has been challenged to pull off the Backflip Fakie that has been haunting his dreams since that Game of B-I-K-E that Scotty Cranmer and Cory Berglar had a while back. Can he pull it off? Will he finally pull the trick off or leave broken like last time? Hit play and find out!

“We made it to 250,000 subscribers! and in honor of this we did another trick challenge video that we are dedicating to all of you as a way of saying thank you! This time Cory “puppy arms should have been a mini horse” Berglar decided to take on the challenge and get redemption on the Back flip to fakie he didn’t try in the game of bike we had at the incline club! Cory is my favorite rider and he is so good at BMX and he knows how much all of you love him so he didn’t even hesitate once on accepting this challenge! Cory got his lucky dice out and rolled the ultimate C-lo combination 4-5-6 and jumped on his bike and sent the backflip! It didn’t come easy, but hey? when does it?? He crashed a few times and battled out the fake challenge and eventually he landed the back flip! And I got him a special prize for landing the trick! 250 Dyno Chicken Nuggets!”
