Moore BMX – Sean Ricany Uncut

January 25, 2024

Sean Ricany gets on the Moore BMX Podcast for another round!

The other day Sean Ricany was on the Unclicked Podcast, and now we get a second round as he got on a video call with Brant Moore for the Moore BMX podcast. Check out over an hour and a half of Sean telling his side of the story, what came up from the Unclicked Podcast, riding and much, much more. Get on that play button and take it all in!

“Sean Ricany was at the forefront of BMX progression from a very young age. He has ridden for multiple huge companies even outside of the BMX world including Red Bull, Kicker Audio, and Rockstar Energy. He has also filmed many incredible videos throughout the years. Sean’s riding legacy is undeniable and recently he has spoken out about many things within BMX.

This podcast is not meant to keep all of this going or bring up more drama in BMX. While Sean may be aggressive with his opinions at times, I don’t feel like silencing someone when they have an opinion you don’t like is the appropriate way to approach anything. The only way to work through things is to talk about it. I’ve talked quite a bit about this entire situation so when Sean reached out to me at 5 am yesterday about doing a podcast, I was nervous but 1000% in. We recorded this instead of doing it live in case anything needed to be edited and as you may notice, the entire podcast is uncut. Nothing was removed and we had a great conversation.

At the end of the day we are all people. None of us are perfect. Sean is a person. He admits his faults and owns up when he is wrong. This podcast isn’t one I thought would ever happen but I’m glad it did.” – Brant Moore

Unclicked Podcast – Sean Ricany

January 21, 2024

Sean Ricany sits down for a deep conversation on the Unclicked Podcast!

The latest round of the Unclicked Podcast has arrived, and this time around Ryan Fudger gets on a video call with Sean Ricany for a super deep conversation talking sponsors, money, struggles with addiction and much, much more. There has been a lot of buzz around Sean the past week or so, so this is kind of him telling his story. This is a real good listen, so get on that play button since it will definitely give you a whole different perspective on things.

“Annnd, here we go.

I feel the need to say that my goal with this was not to stir up more shit, despite what people think. Sean has been effectively been on an online rampage for the last eight to ten months and I was hoping that getting it all out there, saying his piece (peace?), could be the beginning of the end. Yes, people would be angry at something said, but it would hopefully open the door to resolution. Or closure, at least.

I am of the opinion that Sean says nothing really new here. Here’s aired all this stuff out online before in one way or another. But seeing him say it with emotion on his face and hearing him take accountability in between strong statements reminds us that he’s a flawed human (as we all are). Overall, it shows a side of him that is different than the online internet shit talker. He talks about his struggles and even apologizes at the end. This is not me taking his side in anything, but showing fault is an important step… Is this Sean’s version of what happened? Yes. Do other people have a different version? Of course. We all see/remember things through our own lens and, as cliche as it sounds, there are two sides to every story. Being on the other end as an interviewer, it’s my goal to let him tell to that story. I tried to offer counter points when possible (IE, “is it possible that Robbie was coming from a good place?”) but I do not know, or only have a vague idea, of the other side and it’s also not my place to argue on behalf of someone else. I hope people understand all of the above.

The podcast is great, as they generally tend to be with someone who is being open and real. Please give it a listen and show respect for all parties involved.” – Our BMX
