It’s good to see Sergio Layos back to crushing it on his bike after breaking his femur a little over two months ago! Pretty crazy how fast bones can heal these days. Either way, here’s a short but sweet one featuring Sergio and a few others getting some time in on the bowl at Ramp Riders in Copehagen, Denmark! This place looks super fun and Sergio brings plenty of style as usual!
“I spent a couple of days in Copenhagen and I was dreaming to ride this place for a while and I can tell you that if it looks good just wait till you ride it! Just a couple of clips hand held and some tripod shots I got and some clips of the people I got to ride with! Huge thanks to Frank for creating such a fun thing and letting me stay at his place and cupcake media for making this little edit together! Hope you enjoy it and make sure you visit this place before you die!

Hit play because this BMX video does NOT disappoint!
“Featuring incredible and cinematic BMX riding by Sergio Layos, Mike “Hucker” Clark, and Corey Bohan at the amazing “Blue Bench” trails, Mike Saavedra uses his artistic skills building amazing dirt jump trails as mental and physical therapy while recovering from a possible career ending injury.
“Raditudes” is an intimate look into what motivates these very individual BMX riders every day.”
Here’s one we’ve been waiting to see all day. Mike Saavedra recently took a trip over to Spain to spend some time with Sergio Layos where they cruised from Mataro to Malaga checking out the sights and riding skateparks and trails! Needless to say, this BMX video is packed full of style! Hit play and enjoy!
“Chillen the most we took a trip down to the beautiful south of Spain from the Lost trails in Mataro to Rubens park in Malaga. In search of good vibes and good rides. Here’s what’s Sergio Layos captured on my busted iphone. Thanks to all the boys for a place to crash and letting us ride their spots. Here’s to the family that is BMX.” – Mike Saavedra

“A glimpse at the iPhone edit of Mike Saavedra and Serigo Layos from Mataro to Malaga. Coming off heavy injuries we wanted to make a fun chill edit of our travels through Spain, late this summer. – Mike Saavedra
Today Fly Bikes dropped a sneak preview of the new 2016 Sergio Layos signature frame that’s due out at the end of this month. Based off the information, it sounds like they have kept most of the same geometry as last year except for a taller seat tube, switching the brake mounts to the seat stays and, the most surprising, switched from a Spanish bottom bracket to a MID bottom bracket. Check out more below!
“With our 2016 range of products getting ready to drop at the end of the month, we’re very excited to give you a full preview Sergio Layos’ signature Trueno frame! For this year Sergio wanted to bump his seat tube up to 8.8″, switch his brake mounts to seat stay and we have gone with a MID bottom bracket. The 2016 Trueno frame will come in colors of flat black, flat Forest green and flat blue and top tube lengths of 20.6″ and 21″.
This frame, along with our full range of 2016 complete bikes, frames and parts will be available through Flybikes dealers worldwide at the end of October.”
