Flybikes in Malta

If you follow Flybikes on Facebook or Instagram, there’s a good chance you saw one of the teasers for their new Malta video from the trip that Stefan, Sergio and Roey took! Well, they just dropped the full video and photogallery from the trip and damn is it good! Check out some amazing riding and some dialed film work in this. “Trips are an adventure and with a group of guys like this, it’s guaranteed fun. Sergio Layos, Stefan Lantschner and Matt Roe headed Malta, a small Island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea with warm weather, old architecture and good food for a few days of spots and sights!

The riding spots were limited, but the natural trannies of Gozo were well worth the travel and there was endless good times that were had.

Etnies Park Sessions

To say that the Etnies team is completely stacked and that we’re beyond excited for the “Chapters” video would be an understatement. Here’s a little teaser of clips that won’t be making it into the full video for you to get an idea of just how good this is going to be! Enjoy!

Fly Bikes – Verao Portugal Adventure 2014

Fly Bikes just dropped this banger of a video from their team trip to Portugal this past summer! Everything from the riding to the filming and editing is amazing!

“This past summer, some of the Flybikes family took a trip to Portugal to explore the spots and spend some time on the beach relaxing! We documented the adventure for this new video titled “Verão”, which means summer in Portuguese, giving everyone a look into the experience that Ruben Alcantara, Sergio Layos, Stefan Lantschner and Courage Adams had during our stay. Enjoy!

Red Bull – Local Hero Tour: Japan

A few weeks back, Simone Barraco and Sergio Layos made their way to Japan to tour the country with Red Bull to hang out and ride with a bunch of the locals and experience what the country has to offer! This video documents the entire trip and gets their insight into how it was! Take a look!

It sounds like we almost didn’t get to see this one! Check out a video bike check with Sergio Layos that was supposed to drop a few months back, but things fell through until Fly Bikes got the project back on track! Take a closer look at Sergio’s 2014 Trueno setup along with some riding clips for good measure!

“Better late than never! Sometimes projects don’t always work out as planned and you have to make the best out of the situation. About two months back, Sergio Layos filmed this video bike check with filmer, Philip Kölsch for another media outlet and it never ended up being put to use! We figured it would be better to drop this video now than to let it never see the light of day! Take a look at Sergio’s 2014 Trueno setup along with some great riding clips in this video bike check!

Fly Bikes dropped the next sneak peek of their 2015 line for us to check out! This time around it’s the Burnt Orange collaboration color they’re doing with Etnies on the Sergio Layos signature Trueno frame! Get the full details below!

“Here’s a preview of one of the two new color options for Sergio Layos’ 2015 frame! We have teamed up with Sergio and his shoe sponsor, Etnies, for this new Trueno X Etnies Burnt Orange colorway with special graphics that will be available later this year.

The 2015 Trueno frame is made from seamless 4130 chromoly with a 20.6” top tube length, 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 8.5” stand over height, 11.75” bottom bracket height and a 13.40” chain stay length. The Trueno frame features an offset thickness head tube, integrated internal gussets for increased strength, multi-butted and tapered top and down tubes, a multi-butted seat tube, a 4130 chromoly Investment cast seat post clamp with the Horizontal Cut System for improved clamping, Investment Cast bridges on the seat and chain stays, Easy Brake System removable brake mounts and Investment cast dropouts with removable chain tensioners.

The 2015 Trueno X Etnies frame will be available later this year through all shops and mail-orders that carry Flybikes worldwide!”
