“Shane always likes to think up innovative lines and his eyes always droft towards odd and obscure set ups, this one was at the side of the road in Atlanta again and at first it seemed like a simple 180 half cab…but BMX is’nt always simple.” – Eclat
Hoang Tran, Ryan Metro and Shane Weston recently spent some time riding in Ohio for a Dan’s Comp trip. Above you can check out a video to see what they got into.
The other day when it was announced that Shane Weston was parting ways with Hoffman Bikes after a few years, I began trying to figure out his next move. I figured Wethepeople had an open spot after Bruno Hoffmann left the team and Shane was already on Eclat and ALmond, so that made since. Then I thought Federal also had an opening since Ty Morrow went to Fiend. Today it was announced that Shane Weston was now riding for Fly Bikes. I was way off.
Take a look at his new bike right here. It looks sooooo good.
“Today is a sad day for sure, we will be saying farewell to Shane so he can pursue other ventures. Shane has come a long way from the young Tennessee kid with big hair and we are glad we were there for a part of his journey. Good luck Shane and we wish you the best, oh yeah….BURR!” – Hoffman
Any guesses where he’s going? I’ve got a couple ideas…
A few weeks back Eclat had Sean Burns, Darryl Tocco, Chester Blacksmith, Ashley Charles, Shane Weston, and IZ meet up in Atlanta to do some riding. They ended up producing as expected so stop reading and take a look!
