Fly – Shane Weston “Isla” Frame and Bar Promo

Damn this is awesome. Check out some fresh riding clips from Shane Weston along with a look at his signature Isla frame and bars from Fly Bikes!

“Flybikes is proud to introduce the newest signature line from one of the most creative and influential street riders out there today, Shane Weston. Shane’s signature “Isla” frame has been built around his riding style and with strength in mind. Featuring the proven EBS brake system, micro integrated 5mm. dropouts with an angled removable chain tensioner. Also with the “Isla” invest casting seat stay bridge and an integrated down tube gusset. The geometry for his frame comes with either a 20.8’ or 21.2’ top tube length, a 75º head tube and with a 69º seat tube angle. The rear is 13.40’, stack height 8.4’ and the bb height 11.75’. Weight of the 20.8’ comes in at 1.967 g. / 4.33 lb. Available in gloss raw and gloss black.

Accompanying Shane’s signature “Isla” frame, with the largest bars flybikes has made to date coming in at a 9” rise, heat-treated multi butted chromoly 29” width and a 12º back sweep, 2º up sweep and 785 g. / 1.73 lb. Available in the new stainless colour way and gloss black.”

I was watching this thinking I had posted it the other day, then I remembered they premiered this at NORA Cup, haha. But that’s beside the point! Dan’s Comp dropped this teaser for the DVD they are working on that you already know is going to be nuts due to the stacked team. Check it!

We Have Motive – Shane Weston on the Rocks

These On the Rocks edits that We Have Motive have been (re)releasing is awesome. If you missed the riding the first time around in the Seven & Seven, now you can check out just riding. That and Shane Weston footage is always awesome.

“We decided to re-edit some of our Seven & Seven Interviews showing only the riding clips. These guys really do some awesome tricks in these video interviews, so we wanted to put some emphasis on their hard work!
The Seven & Seven format is seven Q / A’s with seven clips. Basing the title and format off of the popular drink a “Seven and Seven,” which the ingredients are 7-Up and Seagrams 7. When you remove one of the sevens as we did with the interview questions you are left with one raw ingredient to get the job done which you pour on the rocks. So we decided to call the edits showcasing the raw tricks, ” On the rocks”!
This video shows exactly why Shane does things different from most riders. He came through with a bit of a twist for his tricks in this one by making all the tricks flatland specific , making this another unique edit from an absolutely awesome person.

Sneak Peek: Fly – Isla Frame and Bars

Spotted this over on The Merged. It looks like Shane Weston is already testing his own signature bars and frame. There are no specs or info available on the Isla frame and bars, but I’d imagine we’ll be getting a good look at Interbike in September. Either way, how dialed do that bike look!?
