Get caught up with the Halahan’s in this new episode of 9 Acres!

The latest episode of 9 Acres featuring the Halahan family has arrived courtesy of S&M Bikes. This time around we get plenty of Pennsylvania trails goodness, along with some footage of how Lukas Halahan found out he won NORA Cup trails rider of the year last year. Take a look!

“It’s almost 2025 NORA (Number One Rider Award) time… but before those cups runneth over, let’s recap last year’s race featuring our very own Nate and Luke Halahan and Nathan “Meanhorse” Saunders (who’s in the running again this year).

Trail Riders of the Year Nate (2023) and Luke (2024) and Meanhorse (2025?)… we’ll know soon! But regardless who wins, its safe to say the trails scene is in good hands!

Nathan Saunders in Pennsylvania!

S&M Bikes have released a new episode of 9 Acres for your viewing pleasure. This time around the Halahan’s spend some time with Nathan Saunders who came up from Australia to spend some time at Catty Woods, the Halahan’s trails and more. Check out a whole bunch of riding from the whole crew out there getting some proper laps in, along with plenty of laughs.

“Nathan “Meanhorse” Saunders is real nice with it… and the NZ GOAT-Father brings his bleeaaattt to the PA Trails in this August ’24-filmed installment of 9 Acres. In this episode, we see the Halahan’s pit stop at the airport on their way home from the Rumble at Richmond and get Mean-O straight off the plane and into the Catty Clay Hole.

Next it’s back to 9 Acres for some laps on home turf and in-depth character study of the only non-Halahan Rambler Bro. Rip in if your KEEN! Another ‘Trails As’ episode of 9 Acres comin’ atcha!

Check out the official highlights from the 2025 Pondfest!

Here’s one we’ve been waiting to see! S&M Bikes have released their official highlight video from the 4th annual Pondfest! Here’s 31 minutes of footage from the riding to the interviews, random footage they collected throughout the weekend and more! As expected, this looked like an absolute blast once again. Take a look!

This also gets some details on the cancer Chris Moeller was diagnosed with and the treatment he has been going through. Real wild he was able to make this happen with everything going on.

“Threw another party at The Pond and it did not disappoint!

We’ve got the formula pretty finessed at this point… bring in the Halahan boys to build a new line and button the place up, follow with early-bird arrivals from all-star dudes like Clint Reynolds, Keith Hartwell and the like to butter ’em. Then add a few hundred friends from around the world who are down to slap some shovels, set up a tent, turn off their phones and shred.

Add a holiday weekend, some of the best dirt riders in the world and a pretty epic slice of Rocky Mountain riverfront and the ultimate BMX weekend is born.

Unfortunately, due to “shitty” diagnosis Chris Moeller received in May… this year’s jam almost didn’t happen. Luckily, we decided to do it anyway and we’re so glad we did.

We couldn’t have done it without a handful of homies who held it down while we were focusing on Chris’ health (thanks Nate, Luke, Shane, Ryan, Josh, Pinky and Kevin).

Chris wants to take this opportunity to let everyone know that he’s doing well with his treatment, focusing on making a full recovery and most importantly that EVERYONE should heed the advice to get a colonoscopy at age 45 (or sooner if you’re experiencing any abnormal symptoms).

Todd and Lyla Spriet get dialed in with some new S&M Bikes setups!

S&M Bikes coming through with a fresh edit featuring Todd Spriet and Lyla Spriet getting some riding time in on their new S&M setups! The shred runs strong in the Spriet family.

“Bike talent runs deep in the Spriet family. Papa Spriet – aka Todd – aka / bmx_todd already raised a certified shredder in son Justin Spriet, but from the looks of it… little sis Lyla is amped to get after it too.

Todd was dabbling in 26 Dirt Jumper territory before we got him on back on a BMX in the form of a 22″ Fit Complete bike… and Lyla was also shredding a Fit Misfit Complete. The bikes were serving them well but it was time for some American-Made action so here’s the dynamic duo getting after it on their new 22″ and 18″ ATF frames!

Seems like a FITting time to mention that we are getting new Fit Complete bikes in stock for the first time in several years, so if you’re looking for a solid way to the get the fire smoldering again – check those out. S&M Bikes – 9 Acres: Sharks At The Pond

The Halahan’s hit up Colorado to build up the Pond!!

S&M Bikes coming through with a fresh episode of 9 Acres giving us a look at what the Halahan’s are getting into! This time around we get a look at what they got into while out at Chris Moeller‘s spot in Colorado to help build up a cabin and expand the trails for the annual pondfest jam. Hit play and take it all in!

“From New Zealand/Oz back to Pittsburgh and then across 2/3rds of the country to The Pond! Luke and Nate Halahan headed to Moeller’s Colorado spot early to spruce up the joint before the annual Pondfest Festivities. Shane, Kaci and Jen joined a week later.

The boys added a new line, roofed a cabin and were ready to rumble when the rest of the crew showed up! Watch till the end to get details on this year’s Pondfest!
