Sosh Urban Motion 4 – Behind the Scenes & Final Results

Hadrien Picard just hit us with a link to a behind the scenes look at what went into the crews filming for Sosh Urban Motion 4! They also announced who took the win for this years contest that you can find out below. Now that they have announced the winners, we just have to wait until the sections are released online! This BMX video contest never disappoints, so we’re looking forward to seeing what the teams cooked up!

The 4th Sosh Urban Motion video contest is under way in Paris, France right now with the teams of Dennis Enarson and Christian Rigal, Simone Barraco and Alex Mayol and Max Charveron and Matthias Dandois all going from now until September 1st filming their own video parts which are done solely on a cell phone! Once they wrap up filming and do their voting, we’ll be in for a treat as each section will be released online for your viewing pleasure! SOSH Urban Motion 4 – Press Release

It looks like SOSH Urban Motion will be returning for the 4th year! This video filming contest puts together a pro rider and a filmer of their choice, along with two AM’s, then gives the crew a few days to film on a smart phone! Once the teams have had their time to film and edit, they have a viewing and vote on the winners. Check out who will be involved this year below and the full details!

“SOSH URBAN MOTION – Season 4
The first video contest BMX is back in the streets of Paris
From 8 to 13 September 2015

The Sosh Urban Motion is a unique project in the world of action sports.
Since 4 years, this contest brings together in the streets of Paris, the strongest riders of the international BMX scene, each accompanied by a filmmaker. For a week, from 8 to 13 September 2015 these pairs will have the task to make a film 3 to 4 minutes, with his lone authorized camera, a smartphone.

This year, the competition will bring together 3 international pro teams ( Matthias Dandois and Maxime Charveron (FRA) / Dennis Enarson & Christian Rigal (USA) / Simone Barraco & Alex Barret (ITA)) and both teams ‘wildcard’ recruited on the Internet (against 1 last year).

The contest to try to win one of two wildcards is open here until September 1 at midnight

The 5 achievements will be screened at the closing night at the Workshop (173, rue Saint Martin, Paris 3rd), from 19h on 13 September.
A jury of pros from the world of BMX, will elect the best video uring open to the public this evening.”

Sosh Urban Motion 3 – All Videos

The past two weeks have been an interesting one as the Ride Sessions crew have been uploading each teams section from the Sosh Urban Motion 3 video contest over in Paris, France! The concept of the videos were pretty straight forward… Each team was given a camera phone and an Ollo Clip lens then sent out for the week to film and edit a video that would be judged on based on the riding and film work. Needless to say, each of the teams came through with some great riding and over the course of the past 2 weeks we have been watching section by section pop up. Since they have all of the teams videos online, we compiled them all into one place for you to enjoy. Take a look!
