Wethepeople – 9 Year Old Sousuke Hayata Shreds His 16″ Bike

November 18, 2020

Wethepeople coming through with more footage from their 9-year old shredder over in Japan, Sousuke Hayata, for your viewing pleasure! This time around we get just about 2 minutes of footage featuring Sousuke going to work at his local park and a little street. This kid has some serious style already, and it’s wild how much pop he already has, along with the bike control. There’s a few combos in here like the cab crankflips that you just aren’t seeing kids his age do. It’s pretty amazing to see what these smaller 16″ bikes are doing to get kids into BMX at an earlier age and allowing them to actually progress at a super fast rate. We can’t even begin to imagine what this kid will be capable of in just a few years.

“9-year-old Japanese BMX prodigy Sousuke Hayata shreds our new 2021 seed 16″ complete bike.

Designed to make those first years in the sport as fun as they can possibly be, the Seed is a scaled-down mini machine which has been lightened to make it as easy as possible for a younger rider to reach their goals. Packed full of the latest components from SALT like the Junior 40mm reach stem, and Tracer tires and two fantastic colour schemes to round off what is without a doubt the best 16” complete bike we’ve ever produced.

Fuse Protection – 9 Year Old BMX Prodigy Sousuke Hayata

November 10, 2020

The 9 year old BMX prodigy over in Japan is now doing it for Fuse Protection. Here’s a welcome video filled with clips of Sousuke Hayata padding up then going to work on some street spots and his local park! It’s crazy how much style and skill this kid already has! If you want more, make sure you check out his other video that dropped a few weeks back — Wethepeople – 9 Year Old Sousuke Hayata as his welcome to the Wethepeople team.

Wethepeople – 9 Year Old Sousuke Hayata

October 14, 2020

With the smaller bikes getting to be really amazing, it has made it easier for younger kids to learn how to ride BMX, and in some cases ride like guys who have been at it for years! 9 year old Sousuke Hayata has been added to the Wethepeople BMX team, and after watching this short but sweet welcome video, it’s easy to see why! This kid is looking like a street riding prodigy. If he’s already throwing down the combos he’s doing now, and seems to have some serious hops for his size, we can only imagine what he will be doing by the time he can get on a 20″ bike! Hit play and check this out! Those crankflips!

“Welcome to the team Sousuke Hayata! ??

This 9 year old Japanese street shredder has more swag and steeze than riders 3 times his age. Seeing an even younger generation than ever before progress at such a rapid rate motivates us to develop a higher standard of bike aimed at the younger rider. We’re incredibly excited to welcome Sousuke to the crew and to watch him progress and grow into an even more dialled rider on his 2021 #SEED 16” we kitted out with some aftermarket goodness.
