The guys over at The Merged are working on a new series with a few brands that make their frames here in the U.S and in-house versus going over to Taiwan or China to have them made. Today, they dropped the first one featuring an interview with Steve Crandall about their custom frames they make!
I was wondering when the next episode from FBM‘s “Wheels of Confusion” tour would end up online! This time around the crew make their way to Catty Woods for a good day of cruising the trails and some BBQ action! Take it all in!
“Waking up on a hillside somewhere in Pennsylvania, the FBM crew throws a few axes for breakfast and then heads to the legendary Catty Woods trails for some bmxing and general chillin’. They enjoy an epic session while Travis (the One Eyed Wonder) snoozes… Eric Holladay is shredding, Van Homan and Rob Dolecki make an appearance, the locals kill it and Crandall cooks for the crew on the open fire… Good times hiding from the real world deep in the woods.”
Although Steve Crandall is pushing 40, he hasn’t slowed down one bit. FBM dropped this new one giving you a look at what Steve’s past year looked like… Riding, traveling and good times! Take a look!

After 21 years, a whole lotta beers and good times, FBM is finally legal to drink here in the U.S. They celebrated with a huge jam filled with good people and awesome riding. Take a peek!

Steve Crandall hit us up to let everyone know that the plan for FBM‘s 21st birthday at the warehouse has been moved to the HCS skatepark! Check out the flyer for full details. They will still be doing the street ride with Animal’s Ralph Sinsi on the 5th and the hot dog eating contest on the 6th as well! Those flyers are after the jump! Two in a row from Richmond, Virginia! Here’s a video from the Red Bull Berm Burners pump track contest that went down the other weekend. They had Steve Crandall on the mic and it looks like things got heated. Take a peek!
“On May 17, 2014 at Dominion Riverrock Festival in downtown Richmond, 30 professional cyclists from all disciplines raced against one another at the first-ever Red Bull Berm Burners. The compact dirt pump track, with two nearly vertical berms put riders’ core skills and technical abilities to the test in a race to see who would be the course’s first champion.”
