“The Texas Toast Jam was an amazing three days that brought riders from all over the world to Austin to participate in an event unlike any other. The Shadow Conspiracy and Subrosa set out to deliver some of the most unique obstacles at the contest, and by the response, they did not disappoint. With the help of Eben Krackau and Byron Anderson, the 9-foot tall Subrosa Shield and Shadow Coffin up ledge were created. Here is a compilation of things that went down on these ramps throughout the weekend.

Subrosa‘s new Sweets pegs are available world wide now. This Miles Rogoish signature peg is made from Subrosa’s Deathproof T5 heat-treated 4140 chromoly with a 4″ length, 34mm diameter and 6 anti-rotation pin holes to extend the pegs life. Available in 3/8ths and 14mm. There’s even wax that’s included with the peg. They’ve retard proofed it by noting that you must remove the wax before you can install the peg. I have a feeling somebody was confused about this so that’s why they mention it. Pick up a set and start rippin.

Ryan is one of those guys who can shred like a pro, party like a pro and run a brand like a pro. Let’s face it, this is BMX, that’s not really something too many people could handle. At least not to this scale. I don’t remember the first time I saw something about Ryan, but I do remember wanting a Freebird frame and a Trans AM when I was like 14 because both were badass. Since then, I’ve had the chance to get to know Ryan from his interview I did with him way back in 2007 to the times we got to party when we crossed paths at events and what not. Needless to say, he’s a real rad dude on and off the bike. I figured it would be a good time to talk to the business side of Ryan. Let’s take a look into the Subrosa ring leader’s career path…
