Subrosa In California

Over the course of the past few weeks we’ve been getting a steady flow of BMX videos from the Subrosa crew who recently spent some time out in California. We’ve seen a bunch of videos from the shop stops they did, now we get the footage they were stacking along the way making for one hell of a BMX video. Get on that play button and watch these guys destroy street spots and skateparks!

“The “Subrosa in California” Tour consisted mainly of shops stops. With 5 shop stops, 2 video premieres, and 1 podcast in 7 days, the crew had a pretty busy schedule, but you know how the Subrosa dudes are, and when there was free time, we were out riding.

Featuring Subrosa riders Hoang Tran, Kyle Hart, Lahsaan Kobza, Nick Bullen, and Simone Barraco riding parks and a little street during our short time in California.

Thanks to Waylon, Lil Waylon, Adam 22 and the OSS crew, and everyone who came out to a shop stop, or just rode with us!

Subrosa at Casual BMX

The Subrosa crew keeping their California tour going strong. The next stop for Simone Barraco, Lahsaan Kobza, Hoang Tran, Kyle Hart, and Nick Bullen was Casual BMX! Check out what went down during the Street Rail session and a ditch spot they hit up! Looks like it was a good time to us!

“The Subrosa in California shop stop tour continues with an amazing stop at Casual BMX in Pasadena, CA, powered by Incycle!

We met up at Incycle and shredded the new roller coaster rail set up for a bit before heading to the famous spine ditch in Pasadena!

Hit play for some serious fun and shredding from Subrosa pros Simone Barraco, Lahsaan Kobza, Hoang Tran, Kyle Hart, and Nick Bullen amongst many talented locals!

The Subrosa shop stops keep on coming! This time around we get highlights from the Street Rail Jam they threw at Block Bike Shop! Hit play and take in all the highlights!

“The Block Bike Shop in Lancaster, CA has a strong scene behind them! Subrosa pros Lahsaan Kobza, Hoang Tran, Nick Bullen, Kyle Hart, and Simone Barraco were stoked to share a viewing of The Shadow Conspiracy’s new DVD “What Could Go Wrong?” at the shop and then pedal to a local parking lot for a little rail jam! Fun times were had, clips galore, and vibes a plenty. Big thanks to Rich Bartlett for hosting us, and all the locals who came out to shred!!

Product: Subrosa – Kevin Kalkoff Signature Colorway

Here’s one we got a look at the other week at Interbike 2015! The guys at Subrosa have been working with Kevin Kalkoff on a signature colorway for the Noster III frame, Battle Fork II and Villicus bars with custom graphics. This new kit will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Subrosa worldwide real soon, so get the full scoop below!

“Stoked to announce our latest limited edition guest color way, and this time around it’s by Subrosa Skeleton Crew rider Kevin Kalkoff! Since landing a spot on the Subrosa team, Kevin has basically been on a non stop world tour attending contests, jams, road trips, and filming for the Vans BMX video.

From France, the U.K. and Germany, to Oregon, California, Las Vegas, and now onto Japan, to Kevin it’s all good as long it’s in the names of good friends, and good spots to ride!

His color way, dubbed Satin Moto Blue, features an awesome smooth satin finish with special decals. Due to the nature of the decals and the process of applying them, we are able to have the art go around curves, and even over welds without any bubbling or peeling! They really look hand painted.
