Here’s some news I had a feeling we would be seeing someday! Joris Coulomb has gotten the very well deserved bump up to the Subrosa PRO TEAM! This should mean we’ll be seeing a TON more from him in 2014, so get stoked. Until then, check out a few words about the news below!
“Very stoked to announce that Subrosa Skeleton Crew rider Joris Coulomb is getting the bump up to the Subrosa Pro Team. Joris has been repping Subrosa hard since his addition to the Skeleton Crew a little over a year ago. Since then he’s been on a few trips with the team, and even filmed a full section for our first full-length video Get Used To It. Look for more from Joris and Subrosa in the near future… for now, check out his G.U.T.I. section below.” – Ryan Sher

Here’s a little sneak peek for you guys! Hoang Tran’s signature Villicus Prime frame from Subrosa got some changes for the new year! Check out a few words about the changes from them below and then start saving since this will be out in MARCH!
“The longest running frame in the Subrosa line up just got better; again. Spec wise Hoang wanted more pop out of his bike, so we shortened the rear end to 13.5, 13.25 fully slammed. We also added our new custom Subrosa cast seat stay bridge so you can rock the Subrosa logo loud and proud! We added thicker chain stays to resist denting and increase strength, and removed some of the features that didn’t help with the function of the bike to reduce cost, making this the strongest most affordable Villicus to date. Available mid-March.”
Subrosa gave us our first look at the Noster II last week, and now today they have revealed more details of the frame:
“Subrosa pro rider Simone Barraco did some fine tuning of his wildly popular Subrosa Noster frame to create the Noster II. This frame caters to the tech street riding that he is known for, but is strong enough to handle big drops and gaps. Simone wanted a slightly steeper headtube so we adjusted it to 75.5° and we made the dropouts smaller to fit flush with small diameter pegs so the won’t bend or hang up during grinds. We also made this frame in a brakeless version only, providing a super clean look, and that also allowed us to widen the rear end to fit the widest tires available.
The Subrosa Noster II will be available in April. Stay tuned to the site for more info soon.”

Here’s a little sneak peek look at the new Turbo front wheel from Subrosa that will be available starting in March. This wheel starts out with the Posi-Trac front hub with a 3/8″ female axle that’s laced to the new Subrosa Turbo rim with 3-cross 14-gauge stainless steel spokes. This wheel will be available in matching rim and hub combos like black, polished, 69K gold and red fade. Expect more details closer to its release!
Even down in Florida at Subrosa HQ it’s getting chilly, so it’s perfect timing to release their new sweatpants. Here’s the official word:
“The time has come! The Subrosa “Icon” sweatpants are now available, but only while supplies last. We only did one run of these in Grey/Black, and when they’re gone they’re gone! This special sale also includes a free gift from Subrosa. Hit up The Subrosa Corner Store now!”

Here’s a little sneak peek that I’m real stoked on. Subrosa dropped this sneak peek of the second version of Simone Barraco’s signature Noster frame that will be available in April! This time around they’ve given it this translucent gold colorway that looks so, so good, gave the head tube a 75.5-degree angle, made the drop outs smaller and removed the brake mounts! Expect more details closer to its release!
