This year we have Alex Magallan, Eric Lichtenberger, Erik Elstran, TJ Henderson, Anthony Wilson, Jim Cielencki and Seth Peterson putting the Aaron Ross EX, Gary Young EX and Forecaster Special to the test. The bikes are only modified by adding pegs and sometimes removing brakes. Straight out of the box, our team easily adpated to the new complete bikes simply because they feel and work the same as their personal bikes. Sunday sent through some information and photos of their new Freeze stem. This topload stem is made from an aluminum cast body with a 6061-T6 aluminum top cap. The stem features a reach of 52mm, rise of 34mm and a weight of 10.5 oz. Available in black and raw with a super low price tag of $29.99. That’s a hell of a deal.
Worried it’s not a quality product for the price? You can find this stem on all of the 2012 Sunday complete bikes and Alex Magallan, Jim C and Logan Beyhl’s (Full Factory) bikes. They have been running the stem since February of this year and had 0 problems according to Logan.
