Tampa Bay Riders just posted an interview with Steve Caro, where he explains what efforts he has gone through to find the right place to manufacture his next concepts for his shoe company, SCG. SCG was a thing back years ago before the days of Lotek, Orchid and Inopia (which is also rumored to be making a comeback as well), but never seemed to gain much traction in the market. It sounds like he’s ready to do it up right this go-round, so I’m interested to see what is to come!
Hell yeah! Matt Coplon is one of the best dudes in BMX and this new Tampa Bay Riders edit is loaded with some of his best clips he filmed around some of his local spots this past year. Needless to say, this video turned out real good and it’s one you won’t want to miss!
“This is a compilation of clips I put together starting late summer. I’m usually enjoying the other side of the lens with filming, so I’m not one to ask someone to film for me: excuse the multiple tri-pod angles.
But when I was able to lure someone in, thanks to these folks below for their time, kind words and motivation while cruising the streets of Tampa: Travis Reavis, Matt Arnold, Lucas Porzio, David Gibson, Steven Caro, and Scott Ehlert.
Thanks to Deco, Chad Degroot, and Profile Racing for keeping my rig fresh.
Thanks to Henry Wilson for the Tunes.
Here’s to 2014. Thanks for watching, enjoy.”

The Tampa Bay Riders crew are back with another dialed new mix edit from the past few weeks of filming. Check this one out because there’s plenty of goodness in it!
“Clips filmed on not-so lazy Sundays.
Many miles clocked.
Numerous hours pedaling.
Many fun sessions in the Tampa Bay.
Enjoy the Dying of the Light.
Clips of Dillon and Shane Leeper, Brett Rohlfing, Travis Reavis, David Gibson, Hunter Vickers, Steve-O, Chris Schuster, Jordan Pope, Niles Harper, and Alex Lepak.
Tampa Bay Riders is back, this time with an all park mix from the Summer. That might be confusing to some of you; why would guys be in the parks so much during the Summer? The reason is because Florida summers are so brutally hot, that riding outside during the day is pretty terrible for a few months. This one has a few cameos from some recognizable names like Ricky Moseley, Mark Mulville and of course Matt Coplon, along with a ton of locals, including yours truly at the end.
It’s always good to see a fresh one from the Tampa Bay Riders crew. Check out this new edit Matt Coplon sent through from the crew getting some sessions in while the sun still shined and the heat didn’t get too wild. Enjoy!
“Filmed over the last couple months (March through May), getting as much outdoor living in as possible before Hurricane Season starts. As I post this, its rained for two days with five more projected ahead. Indoors, here we go.
Clips by Matt Arnold, David Gibson, Travis Reavis, Niles Harper, Scott Ehlert, Dirk Griewahn, Chad Degroot, Matt Coplon, and Mark Mulville.
Matt Coplon’s TBR series is back with footage from one of the newest backyard set ups to be constructed in Tampa, the Bane Ramp Compound. It features riding from Chad Degroot, Mark Mulville, Jared Eberwein, Scott Bane, Niles Harper, Sean Albright, David Gibson, and Matt Coplon himself. Anybody else really want to learn the double bonk move at 1:50?
These Tampa Bay Riders edits are always so good. Here’s their latest that Matt Coplon put together that’s loaded up with some sweet clips.
“Here’s a collection of clips captured mostly throughout the Fall in Florida.
Its been a hot one here, thankfully though, the weather has been pretty pristine.
Two years ago we started tbrbmx.blogspot.com as a site to host the local goings-on in Tampa Bay.
Still feeling quiet motivated, here’s to two more.
I want to thank Scott and Matt for good times, good sessions, and upkeep within the site’s domain.
Here’s a little edit we put together between the three of us.
Additional filming by Grant Castelluzzo and Mark Mulville.
Enjoy.” -Matt Coplon
