Grant Castelluzzo joined suit with the rest of the other sections from last years round of The Hunt popping up online lately. There’s no doubt that Grant absolutely killed it in this section. I have no idea how he does half the stuff he does in general so enjoy.

Things with The Hunt for this year is starting to take off. They just announced the judges for this year which look to be a pretty well rounded group of guys that know a thing or two about BMX. This year Will Stroud will be the head judge once again. He will be assited by the likes of Chris Doyle, Gary Young, Jamie Bestwick, Scotty Cranmer, Josh Harrington and Adam22. As far as I know, invites for riders have been sent out and filming is under way. If you didn’t get an invite, hit their website for more info.
Pretty sure these parts aren’t supposed to be online right now, but since Jeremy filmed and edited the section and uploaded it, I might as well post it, right? Here’s the reason for me being such a Dillon Lloyd fan. Dude is soooo under rated and soooo good.
“We’re stoked to present to you Dillon Lloyd’s 2nd place video part in The Hunt 2011. This edit represents a super fun 2 months of filming in Vancouver with my boy Dillon Lloyd. I’m sure most of you already know Dillon is an incredible rider, it might seem crazy to say but watching this part now, I feel that some of this footy is actually dated, based on how much more ridiculous Dillon has gotten in the past year. Between killing it at Simple Session and missing qualifying by one spot, 7th place in street at Rebel Jam, crazy shit in our Barcelona DVD, getting hooked up by Eclat, amongst other things, I feel extremely confident to say that this kid has big things ahead. I hope you enjoy this part as much as I enjoyed putting it together with Dillon. If you missed it check this out for a some random pictures from the making of Dillon’s part.” – The Northern Embassy / Jeremy Deme
It’s finally time. The Hunt is getting fired up and this years theme is gold. Here’s a little teaser and some information about what’s to come. I know I already submitted a few people myself, but if you think you got what it takes then make sure you get over to their website and find out how to get in on this.
“The Hunt BMX video contest kicks off again with a bunch of new prizes including a shark fishing expedition, a trip to party in Hawaii, giant flat screen TVs, Vans shoes for a year, all the Monster you can drink and Skullcandy headphones. Video parts are due August 1st. Start filming now and register at TheHuntBMX.com
*Original music score in this trailer by Paul Depauw, called “Levels.”“
Sections from The Hunt aren’t supposed to be online yet, but I got the okay from Kosman for posting this one, so enjoy it! Here’s a look at Tony Neyer’s banger of a section. What a beast. Expect more about The Hunt round 2 soon!

Zack Gerber uploaded his section from The Hunt. Needless to say there’s a TON of wild riding that appeared in this. If you haven’t seen the video yet, I suggest you pick yourself up a copy.
The second round of filming for The Hunt has started and later this summer sections will be due and I’m sure Zack will come through with even crazier riding.
Well, the day has finally come to check out the final product from The Hunt. I grew up being a big fan of the original Aspire videos, so when Justin Kosman told me he was working on a similar video contest with a twist, I was more than psyched to see what would come from it. It was cool to watch the video develop from the concept to a full blown contest with a ton of real good riders and filmers submitting parts to finding out who made the cut. I received my copy in the mail the other day and what do I find? An extra copy to GIVE AWAY to one of you guys! So if you want to win the video, all you have to do is do one or two things. 1.) comment “I want that DVD!” in the comments on this post, or 2.) head over to The Union’s Facebook and comment on the photo of the DVD case “I want that dvd!”… easy as that! I’ll announce the winner next Friday, November 18th! Now, here’s what I thought of the video…
