It’s been FOREVER since we’ve seen anything from The Take! I almost thought they were kind of winding the brand down, but I guess I was wrong! James Lukas has been doing it for them for a while now, but his welcome to the pro team edit just made its way online and as expected, he produced some great riding! Check it!
Matt Nicklen spent his weekend checking out spots with The Take‘s Ryan Alcock. They ended up filming a ton of clips from the different parks they went to for this new edit that’s loaded up with goodness. Take a look!
“I took a trip up north for the weekend to hang with Ryan and shred some bikes! Hes very fortunate to have so many good local spots and heres just a few (mainly parks coz you gota check em out!)
We went to Huyton, Southport, Preston ‘ARC’, and Irlam.
Weather was sweet, many goodtimes where had and big thanks to Ryan and his friends and family for looking after me!” – Matt Nicklen
“Part 2 for The Take’s road trip in New England 2012. It is based around the Providence, RI area with a touch of Springfield, MA. Special thanks to Fattrax crew for showing us around Springfield. and Circuit for having us by.

I honestly have no idea what the hell the title has to do with anything… but it’s hilarious. Check out some fresh Chris Zeppieri and Tanner Nelson footage in this new edit for The Take. I’m slightly sad to say there is not one of Tanner’s classic griz’s in this.
“Over the summer Chris Zep stayed with Tanner Nelson out in Salt Lake for a few days during his cross country expedition. They managed to get a few clips at Tanners local park before Chris ventured onward on his journey.”
Check out The Take‘s connect, Jefferson “Jsonn” Tascon getting some riding time in at his local park. This kid has a bunch of real good tricks and Stevie Churchill even gets a few clips. Take a peek!

Flash back a couple years ago. It was my second Interbike and for some reason I decided to only book a flight and see if I could just find a place to crash to save some money. One thing lead to another and all the sudden I’m crashing in this dude’s parents time share a ways off the strip. At the time, I had no idea who this guy was other than he was hilarious and rode BMX. It’s always pretty cool how things work out if you just don’t plan anything. But yeah, in the end I had a place to stay and I was able to meet Tanner Nelson for the first time. Since then, Tanner has gone on to get a pretty solid reputation in BMX with his web videos that are always loaded with goodness and his ridiculous Twitter account. After taking a little time away from BMX due to some health issues, he recently re-joined The Take‘s team with some refreshed energy. We decided to catch up with one of the masters of the Griz Air to find out where he went and what’s new. Let’s see what he had to say!
Name: Tanner Nelson
The Wonder Twins finally make it official with The Take with this rad welcome edit!
“Cody and Dawson kill it on the bikes, and despite being twins, are very distinctive individuals. Cody is a front wheel magician and Dawson has the quick hands. Besides their riding Talent, they are chugging sodas and loving Tegan And Sara. They are rad, and will be faces you see a lot more of. Introducing the Clark twins; Cody and Dawson. Welcome to the family.
Filmed and Edited by the homie Bobby Kanode”
