SE Bikes – Todd Lyons and the Fat Ripper

Just when you think BMX is safe from the Fat Tire trend going on in the bigger bikes, Todd Lyons comes rolling through with the new Fat Ripper 26″ from SE Bikes and throws down this new BMX video. Take a look at Todd ripping around on street spots, trails and really anything else he could run over on the bike. Now, the real question is… With bigger BMX tires and those massive BMX rims coming out, could this be the future of BMX?

Out of Focus – Kuala Lumpur

Aaron Nardi is one of those guys in BMX that is lucky enough to travel all over the world filming and taking photos for different projects. During a lot of those trips, there ends up being a lot of extra footage and photos that go unseen! Instead of letting it all go to waste, we figured it would be rad to drop those extras online for you guys to check out! For the first round of Out of Focus, Aaron had a TON of photos leftover from the trip to Kuala Lumpur that he took with Todd Lyons for a video for ESPN BMX that you can check out after the jump! Agenda Tradeshow Video

This collaboration thing at Agenda is definitely a cool concept. Did anyone else notice the amount of Animal stuff is made in the U.S now? Pretty cool.

“Towards the end of last week, the Agenda Tradeshow descended on Long Beach, Calif., and this year, things went a little different than usual, with BMX being introduced into the fold. To get things started, Agenda invited four brands and asked them to introduce new collaborative efforts. Cult teamed up with Vans, Shadow/Subrosa teamed up with Rebel 8, SE went with Starter and issued a 29″ PK Ripper, and Animal’s Tom Grunwald (who forgot his name when introducing himself) walked us through the custom 10Deep/Animal/Skavenger build.

Right now, I am wearing a pair of jeans from Target and a Russian Circles t-shirt, so the above video might as well be a different language, but it is unique to see BMX influence subtly make its way into non-BMX areas. Video by former Standard Byke Co. team rider Aaron “Mowser” Nardi.” – ESPN
