“Highlights from the 2021 TRA BMX Double-cross and trick contest.
“Heart Attack American””
Oh hell yeah! The TRA Double Cross is back, and it looks like it was another badass day. The concept it pretty straight forward, put two riders head to head down a track that’s more like a set of trails and see who can take the win while still managing to get some tricks and style mixed in there for some bonus points. Hit play for this highlight video showing you what went down! This looks like such a good time.
“The TRA Double cross was so sick!! Stoked the shop got to sponsor this event and stoked to document it!!” – Powers BMX

“The TRA Double Cross and Dirt Jump Comp was held Sunday, October 5th, at the TRA backyard compound near Bethlehem, PA. Twenty seven riders from around the globe came together for this historic event featuring the return of bicycle motocross racing in its purest form – straight from the trails and fun for all. With top AA pro racers, X Games Gold Medalists, NORA cup legends, street riders, dirt jumpers, park riders, and plenty of core trail riders in attendance, the event was a melting pot of all riding disciplines that proved what is possible for the future of dirt comps and BMX racing. The event was made possible with donations from Dan’s Comp, S&M, FIT, Odyssey, United, Empire, Doublecross Bikes, Hyper, SNAFU, Soilworks, Blackman’s Cycle, Axlerad Screen Printing, DKOI Bikes, Indust, Action Wheels, Fab Tech Welding, and STAY STRONG. This video by Elevated Visuals captures the true spirit of this historic event.” – Michael Gentilcore
“Special thanks to Tim Coyne for helping with second angles and Nathanial Bartholomew for contributing his aerial footage towards the video. Couldn’t have done this without you guys!

This past weekend, the Trail Riders of America hosted the Double Cross contest out in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where they invited out 26 riders to take part in the day filled with racing, tricks and good times. The concept was simple, put two riders head to head on a hybrid track that’s not only built for speed, but for tricks as well and see who can make it to the finish line first. We had our friend Eric Silver out at the event to shoot some photos and he came through with a ton of great shots featuring the likes of Chris Doyle, Van Homan, Brandon Dosch, Scotty Cranmer, Aaron Ross and many more that you can check out in our new photogallery! Check it!
When the gate drops, the bull shit stops! Check out more footage from the TRA Double Cross that went down last weekend! Seriously can’t get over how rad this event is!
“TRA Double Cross is a one of a kind BMX event that combines trail riding skill and racing strategy. Hosted in the dirt jumping Mecca of eastern Pennsylvania, Double Cross incorporates all the excitement of a BMX dirt jumping event with the head to head action of the early 1970s BMX style. This event is a new platform for top pros to go elbow to elbow, taking BMX racing back to the roots of the sport.” – Red Bull
