United Bike Co. – “Affirmation” Full Video

United Bike Co. have decided to released their full “Affirmation” DVD online for everyones viewing pleasure! This 30+ minute BMX video is filled with riding the team filmed over a pretty short time period of 6 months, which is not much time to film for a full length DVD these days. Despite the short timeline, the team was able to produce plenty of dialed clips on the spots they cruised along the way! Hit play and enjoy the full video. If you would like a DVD copy, you can pick up a copy for about $8 on the United website!

Whenever you plan a BMX road trip, especially a few weeks in advance, you never really know quite what you might get for weather. Some of the United team recently took a road trip over in the U.K and, based off the video, it looks like things didn’t quite go the best with weather. Despite the bad luck, they still managed to hit up a bunch of parks to ride and it looks like they had a good time to us! Take a look at what they got into in this new video!

“The plan was a simple one; a week of driving and camping throughout the south of the UK, hitting up some bowls and trails along the way, then finishing at the Boyley Jam in Hastings with Fooman, Emerson Morgan, Chase Quantrill and Andrew Lazaruk. ““A few of the United boys stayed in Bristol UK for a week after NASS. We got pretty lucky with the weather, apart from one day of straight rain, so instead of sitting in going sight seeing we decided tho hit the M32 spot, hand made by the Bristol skaters under a motorway – the perfect escape from the rain. We had the idea to maybe get a couple of clips on the VX to make a little edit and it soon escalated into everyone doing mind blowing lines. So here it is, one day at the M32 spot with Ben Gordon, Kris Bunnage, Harry Mills-Wakley , Fernando Laczko and Miki Fleck. Enjoy!“” – Emerson Morgan

United – Fernando Laczko “Up North Down South”

It has been quite some time since we’ve seen a new video from Fernando Laczko due to him having knee surgery and taking time to recover properly. Now that he’s back, it looks like he’s feeling good on his bike and ended up taking most of the past year to film this BANGER of a video for United! Everything about this from the riding to the spots, filming and editing are on point, and you will definitely not want to miss this one! Hit play and enjoy. Hopefully this means we’ll be seeing plenty more of Fernando in 2019!

“Following on from a year long ACL and meniscus recovery, United’s Fernando Laczko was ready to go in hard on a video, and after nine months of filming it turned out to be one of his best to date. Shot throughout Spain – Fernando definitely pushed the boat out on this one. Gap to grinds galore!” – DIG

“The whole idea to film with Gonzalo was because I just came back from a recovery and wanted to take as much time as I needed to work on a video. I usually go on one week trips where the video needs to be finished after that. The last time I had the chance to take my time was for my welcome to United video.

This was filmed over a duration of 9 months and has taken us all around Spain. From me going back and forth to Madrid and Gonzalo taking trips down here, we did a 7 day trip from Vigo to Madrid stopping in different cities such as Bilbao and Pamplona.

For me it’s more than a web video. If someone asked me to film a video part for a dvd I would give them this. I had that thought in my head while filming it if you know what I mean?

It was almost like I was filming an imaginary video part for myself. My “mentality” had finally returned after one year of ACL and meniscus recovery, I could finally ride without having the worry in the back of my mind.

I picked Gonzalo cuz’ he’s the man in Spain to film with. We became friends while he was filming a homie and I knew I wanted to work on something with him ever since.” – Fernando Laczko

United – The Purge Stem

Is it time for a new BMX Stem? Here’s a look at the new The Purge stem from United. The stem looks like your regular topload stem, but they’ve actually designed it so the front of the top plate actually touches the bottom of the stem where normally that isn’t something you want to do. They’ve done this to improve clamping and helps ensure that your bars are even. Get the full scoop from United below!

“Everyone knows that resetting your bars is the worst possible thing. It takes forever for your mind to agree that the bars feel how they did before slipping. We wanted to design a stem that clamped tight and evenly at that. We had seen stem bolts snap from a rocky plate and uneven tightening. With the PURGE stem we wanted strength and durability so we went with a fully CNC 6061 Ali block including a CNC’d United graphic on the side. You will notice the clamping system clamps completely shut up front. This is to stop the uneven tightening. Simply tighten the front bolts to lock your bars in place evenly then clamp down on the back to fully secure your bars in place.

The stem comes with a 49mm reach and a 34mm rise. Giving you the option to ditch those ugly headset spacers and tidy up the look of your bike.” – United

NIGHT SHIFT – Emerson Morgan X Harry Mills-Wakley

Emerson Morgan and Harry Mills Wakley teamed up for some winter night sessions! Here’s a look at what they’ve been getting into while out cruising spots in this new video for United. Take a look!

“You’re in the middle of winter, it’s dark before going to work, it’s dark when you finish. The weather is consistently shit, your fingers are close to falling off due to the cold and the motivation to even leave the house is a struggle at best. Emerson Morgan and Harry Mills-Wakley on the other hand have different plans for the winter. They took on the “Night Shift” and kept things alive during the bleakest time of the year. It’s quite a task to film enough during the summer let alone the winter. Donned with the night light there was no stopping these two! Filmed on the streets of Bristol, England between November and January we give you the Night Shift.” – DIG

United BMX – Corey Martinez Flat Mint Incarnate Frame

If you’re on the hunt for a new frame, United BMX have released their Incarnate frame in this new Corey Martinez signature Flat Mint colorway! Above is a quick video giving you a look at the frame built up, then below you can find full specs and details! Take a look!

The United Incarnate frame is made from full 4130 Seamless Sanko Japanese chromoly tubing that is butted and tapered with a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 70.25-degree seat tube angle, 11.75″ bottom bracket height, 8.75″ standover height and a 13″ chainstay length. The frame has an Integrated head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes for strength, a mellower seat tube angle to bring the Mid bottom bracket forward to make the frame feel a little smaller without actually changing the top tube length, an ultra slim cast wishbone on the chainstay, a wide rear end for plenty of tire clearance with thickened chainstays for additional strength and 14mm dropouts. This is a completely BRAKELESS frame, so there are no mounts or guides.

The United Incarnate frame is available in 20.8″, 21″ and 21.2″ top tube lengths with a weight of 5 lbs. flat. If you aren’t feeling the Corey Martinez Flat Mint color, the frame is also available in a Harry Mills Wakley Lilac colorway, Raw, Flat Translucent Brown and Flat Translucent Smoke Black.
