Vans BMX Street Invitational Highlights

Yesterday things went off for the Vans BMX Street Invitational contest out in California. They invited some of the best street riders in the world to come out and throw down! Above is a look at some of the wild riding that went down throughout the day! Broc Raiford ended up taking the win and it’s pretty clear to see why! Hit play and take it all in!

Vans BMX Street Invitational – Day 2 Practice

The Vans BMX Street Invitational is going down this weekend and it’s safe to say were in for a wild contest. Above is a look at some of the riding that went down during the second day of practice. Vans BMX Street Invitational 2016 – First Practice

The Vans BMX Street Invitational is going down this weekend and it looks like Chad Kerley, Nathan Williams, Dakota Roche, Bruno Hoffmann, Calvin Kosovich, Corey Martinez, Alex Donnachie and a few others have arrived and started cruising the park to see what they can dial in for lines for the contest. “The vibe today was mellow with just over half of the 20 riders set to ride in the first ever Vans BMX Street Invitational on course. And, with a very open practice schedule (a good thing) of 9am-6pm, the dudes were pretty spread out. So I kept it the same and simply put together a quick-hit chronological cut of what I filmed over the four hours I was there. Sorry about the wind noise; apparently my little wind sock can’t handle high-speed lines. But enough of my little excuses…it’s quite obvious that this event is gonna be dope. Here’s a little behind the scenes insight into a clip that took a little more effort than expected to get done while filming for the Vans “Illustrated” video. It’s pretty crazy that, even after all these, years Gary can still find some NBD’s like this one at Home Ave.

Vans have just announced that they’re throwing a BIG street contest at their park in Huntington Beach on June 25th! It looks like they’ve got a big bag of money up for grabs and some of BMX finest street riders ready to throw down. Get the full scoop below! “The first ever Vans BMX Off The Wall BMX Street Invitational is a unique BMX Street event that brings together the biggest names in BMX Street riding – from the undisputed gold medalist to the video filming champ to the local boy battling it out at the Vans Off The Wall Skatepark & Jack’s Garage in Huntington Beach, CA.

The Vans BMX Street Invitational honors the sport’s elite as they illustrate their style across urban terrain including stairs, handrails, ledges and banks.
